    Quimbaya Museum Is a museum located in Armenia, Colombia

    designed by Colombian architect Rogelio Salmona.

    artcrafts, about 390 gold objects, 104 pottery, 22 stone

    zoomorphic vases.

    of Quindo, Colombia. The park can be

    cable car.

    The two areas are

    linked by a cable

    car (gondola lift).

    The architecture of the old houses, churches and buildings

    has Spanish Colonial and Baroque styles. It houses several

    universities, libraries and museums.

    Quevedo brook plaza (Plaza del chorro deQuebedo)

    Is a public place in Bogota where some historians claim

    that Gonzalo Jimenez de Quesada founded the city in

    1538.

    Today the square is frequented by tourists and is

    surrounded by cafes, restaurants and souvenir shops.

    Fort of San Felipe, CartagenaLocated on the outskirts of the city on the Hill of San

    Lazaro, this 16th century fortress played an integral role

    in protecting South America during colonial times.

    The castle is known for its strikingly grand entrance and

    series of complex tunnels.

    The Monument to Effort or Monumento alEsfuerzo

    Is a large sculpture realized by Colombian artist Rodrigo

    Arenas Betancur in the department of Quindo

    (Colombia) as a memorial for the foundation of the city

    and the antioquian colonisation that made it possible.

    It is a 28 meter high bronze sculpture and was

    dedicated in 1978. Its current location is in the

    main square of Armenia.
