La vida eterna Vigésimo Domingo del Tiempo Ordianrio Semana del 19 de agosto del 2018 Escucha la Palabra (Juan 6:51 – 58) Al escuchar esta lectura acerca de Jesús como el pan vivo, ¿qué palabras o frases te llaman la atención? ¿Qué parte de esta promesa toca tu corazón más profundamente? Ve tu vida Pregunta para los niños: ¿Cómo el recibir la comunión te ayuda a crecer en tu fe? ¿En qué te ayuda amar al prójimo? Pregunta para los jóvenes: Jesús nos promete la vida eterna si lo seguimos y creemos en él. ¿Qué te dificulta creer? ¿Qué es fácil acerca de la fe? Pregunta para los adultos: ¿Cómo es la fe en Jesús sustenta tu vida? ¿Cómo te sustenta la Eucaristía? Actividades para la semana Tomen estas actividades para reflexionar más: Jesús es la fuente de la vida eterna. Eternal Life Twentieth Sunday in Ordinary Time Week of August 19, 2018 Listen to the Word (John 6:51 – 58) As you hear this reading about Jesus as the living bread, what words or phrases strike you? What part of this promise touches you most deeply? Look into your life Question for children: How does receiving communion help you grow in your faith? How does it help you love others? Question for youth: Jesus promises us eternal life if we follow him and believe. What makes it hard for you to be-lieve? What is easy about faith? Question for adults: How does your faith in Jesus nourish your own life? How does the Eucharist nourish you? Activities for the week Take these activities to further reflect: Jesus is the source of eternal life. We are called to share Jesus’ life with the world. How can you share Jesus with others this week? This week find out about assisted living centers or hospi-tals nearby. Think of different ways that your family could help those who are sick or alone in one of those facilities. As a family, go to the church to make a visit to the Blessed Sacrament. Before the visit, talk about what it means to show reverence, or care and respect for God. Make a list of things for which your family is thankful. Re-member these things the next time you participate in the Eucharist.

A Ministry of Intercession and Devotion to Our Lady Undoer of Knots A new ministry of prayer and petitions that will allow all of us to intentionally pray for one another asking for the inter-cession of Mary under the invocation of Our Lady Undoer of Knots. All of us hold in our hearts prayer requests about family, friends, ourselves, etc. Communal prayer unites us as member of a community of faith.
