INIIUHHJCI ION: AL the request of NOKANDA I XPL ORAT J ON CO. 111).,
geophy s j c: a J surveys wore undertaken, during the
month of January, 1909, on the Carscallen Twp. Grid-
16 |ir o j e o l .
l ho riuijfi purpose of the surveys is the technicaJ
appraisal of the INPUT data of this particular area.
II - IMUHMK1Y: l he CarscaJJen Grid - 16 claim group consists of
17 contiguous sixteen hectare claims which are
nunihered as follows:
1071935 - 1071936 - 1071937 - 1071938 - 1071939
1071940 - 1071941 - 1071942 - 1071943 - 1071944
1071945 - 1071946 - 1071947 - 1071948 - 1071949
1071950.
Ill - LOCATION A ACCf S',1011 IT Y:
This group of 16 claims is located i ri the eastern
area of Carscallen Twp. at an approximate distance
of 7 (] Km southwest of the city of Timmins.
The: area is readily access i t) l e t) y driving along
highway 101 [T immins-foleyet ] for a distance of
22 Km,then oy travelling along an access road which
leads northwards to the southern claim boundary -
an a ddi t i orici l driving distance of 6 Km.

An I.. D. A. proton magnotomotcr was used for the
survey with an accompanying base station for diurna

The magnetic data was then plotted on a base map at
t lie scale of 1:2 300.
l he survey has outlined three magnetic areas which
have been labeled "a", "b" arid "c" - these are
briefly discussed as follows:
Magnet i c Area "a":
l hi s area represents approximately 805S of the total
surveyed area - its magnetic intensity varies from
630 to 730 gammas. A few small magnetic anomalies
have also been outlined within area "a".
l tin s area "a" represents the local background value
and indicate the presence of underlying volcanic

from 7M) to 1 1 M) gammas.

Ihis magnetic ariomaJy has been outlined partiaJJy

for the survey; readings were taken at every 23

Three conductors and a possible fourth, has been
outlined by the L.M. survey; these arc described as

I he INPUT survey has indicated, in that area, the
presence of a three channeJ INPUT anomaJy.
It must a J so be noted that this conductor is
