KACO new energy XP550-OD-TL

KACO new energy is a leader in power electronics specializing in PV inverters, performance monitoring systems, and power supply systems for industrial rail applications. KACO new energy has produced approximately 6 GW of PV inverters since 1999. Continued growth will see KACO new energy enter the emerging markets of energy storage systems and rural electrification.

The largest photovoltaic solar power project in Texas, a 400 MW utility scale PV deployment is currently under construction. The project will be powered exclusively by the XP550-OD-TL. Therefore, KACO new energy is establishing a manufacturing plant in San Antonio, which will create more than 70 new jobs and will locally manufacture the XP550-OD-TL as well as other KACO new energy inverters. KACO new energy’s central inverter solution will be assembled to form functional units called Integrated Power Stations (IPS) complete with medium voltage step-up transformer and auxiliary power equipment.
