As I believe, good research can change the society and an academic institute is the birthplace of that, So all the faculty members and students are motivated to think freely and innovatively which can create great scope for new research. Ever since the inception of this college, we have been striving hard to comprehend the broad significance of education while designing our mode of instruction. We guide our students to sharpen their intelligence and enable them to accomplish their aspirations. Simultaneously, we instil in them a positive value system that shapes their attitude, outlook and conduct, that provides a strong foundation for them to tackle the challenges of life. Dr. R.T. Goswami T echno International New Town started its journey in the year of 2005.The college is the logical development and the rational conclusion of the mission and the vision of Techno India Group which is one of the largest knowledge management groups in India. The academic community finds inspiration from India’s ancient past where education was closely associated with the man-making mission. We believe education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man. We have tried to build a tuneful balance between India’s golden past and her desired destiny to be a super-power in the post-modern age. Promit Ray of ECE of Techno International New Town co-authored a paper titled Mathematical Modelling of Kink Effect in Deep- Submicron FDSOI MOSFET presented at the EDCT IEEE Conference, 2018. Two technical seminars on Emerging Technologies in the Field of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Recent Advances in Cellular Mobile Communication Technologies were arranged for students by the ECE Department Techno International New Town (formerly known as Techno India College of Technology) on 27th and 29th March, 2018. One day industry-academia seminar on Digital Sub- station and Power Quality Management System was organized by the EE department. An industrial visit to the Southern Generating Station CESC, Garden Reach was organized for 3rd year students of the EE department. Students of 3rd year ME of under the QUASAR initiative, successfully conducted and organized the workshop on DRONE TECHNOLOGY SEMINARS & WORKSHOPS Five students crack process It is a moment of pride for Techno International New Town as five pre-final year students have been selected by Intel for their full time paid internship program. Through this program the students will get an exposure of on-the-job training at the company. A seminar was organized by the Department of CE on Practical Aspects of Civil Engineering on 12th April, 2018. A talk on Changing the Economy of Asia by Pr of. Atul Mishra from University of Plymouth was held at the Department of BBA. An International Seminar on Impact of Globalization & Internationalization on Cross-Cultural Leadership in association with the British Council Library with Shahida Khan and Gauri Guha as the speakers.
