Achievements The success and glory of Techno India Group Public School, Siliguri for the year 2016-2017 has been the result of tremendous effort and hard work of the students and all associated with this institution. Encompassing all these, the school today stands proud being honoured as the top CBSE School and being the recipient of the Distinctive Principal Award by Minerva. Techno India Group Public School, Siliguri not only focuses on academics but also provides all-round training to its students to excel in co-curricular activities. The students of TIGPS, Siliguri have achieved several accolades in sports this year. The team has reached the national level in Table Tennis Eastern India Championship. The students have reached the National Final in Athletics. The TIGPS Siliguri team has become the Champion in the Inter-School Football Championship. It has also achieved the 4th position in the CBSE Football Championship. TIGPS Siliguri has bagged the 1st position in CBSE Cluster II Table Tennis championship in Bhubaneswar. It is a matter of immense pride, privilege and honour to welcome everyone to Techno India Group Public School, Siliguri. Our school’s

aim is to educate the youth of India and abroad to take their productive place as leaders in the global community by offering our pupils a comprehensive education from Nursery to Class XII. We are a caring community where students’ needs are our priority and our prime concern.

This year our school TIGPS Siliguri won the title “Champion of Champions” in Taekwondo in the entire Eastern India Zone (CBSE

cluster). Four of our children in CBSE cluster have qualified for Nationals in Athletics. This is not only this year it happens almost every year. Children take part in different science activities that are organized by Science Centre, Siliguri Metropolitan Police. There are countless trophies won by children who took part in Road shows, Dance, Music, Talent Hunt etc.Rhitwick Das, a student of class XII has successfully qualified in ‘Swachhathian’ – a project of Govt. of India and reported to New Delhi where he competed with rest others who were all senior to him. Our X and XII board results were also good. Our school was awarded for the best CBSE School and has won the Distinctive Principal Award for two consecutive years by Minerva. We are proud of our children and our teachers who always give their level best. I am privileged to be a part of Techno India Group and I pray to the Almighty that it grows bigger and bigger.

Our goal at TIGPS Siliguri is to provide an enriching, engaging and challenging curriculum with critical thinking and understanding

that will prepare students for success for years to follow. To ensure that our students are well--equipped with knowledge to face challenges, we have focused sessions on special topics including disaster management, basic life support, health and hygiene for girls, career counselling, career planning and development.
