THE CAVALCADE
The Cavalcade is known as a parade of coloursand joy. Wherever the parade stops, these mobilepromotions never fail to attract the crowd.
The colourful and multi designed cavalcadevehicles provide valuable exposure and mileagefor the event partners and the sponsors.
Travelling from villages to towns and from towns tocities, the sponsors will benefit extensively throughmaximum visualization and wide advertising
exposure of various corporate images, productsand services, it is an effective way of promotionsand marketing strategy thus spreading ourpartners branding.
One can truly capture these unforgettablemoments with its carnival ambience as they movealong the race route.

THE CAVALCADE COMPONENTS
CAVALCADE VEHICLES
Major component of the event is the decorative and colourful
vehicles, called the cavalcade. These vehicles will be fully-wrapped with event images and sponsors brandings. Thevehicles move in a convoy, from town to town and parked atthe start and finish venues. It gives great visual impact andcreates fun for the public. It is an effective medium for mobileadvertising along the race route, a good on-ground exposureand direct interaction with the public. The Cavalcade neverfail to pull the crowds attention. THE NOISE TM
This Cavalcade vehicle is equipped with powerful sound
system handled by experienced dee-jays. The objective isto create noises to attract the crowd. Thus anothereffective way for promotional and sales activities. Our dee-
jays will assist sponsors to organise games, quizzes andother promotional activities . The Noise will be stationedat strategic locations at the finish venues.
SPONSORS DAY
The sponsors are able to choose a special day which isdedicated to them. On this day, all the volunteers will be inthe sponsors attire and extra promotional activities will be
included i.e. exciting games and quizzes. Mentions ofsponsors messages via The NOISE and the team ofrollerblade girls will be assigned to these sponsors on thatday.

PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIESProduct SamplingSamples of products can be handed out at all stoplocations throughout the Jelajah Malaysia event.
Goodies HandoutsThe cavalcade sponsors can interact with the public andhand out souvenir items at all our stop locations.
EVENT CHARACTERS
Rollerblade Girls
A group of rollerblade girls with sponsors attire willdistribute goodies and samples of products at the Start and
Finish venues.
Mascots
Mascots of sponsors with their brand names will easilyattract the crowds.
PROMO MERCHANDISE
We go further to ensure our partners branding are givenmaximum exposure along the race routes and also at the startand finish areas. Items such as MINI FLAGS, PALM FLAGSand HANDHELD FANS will be distributed to the public tocolour the route with the sponsors corporate or productbranding.

MadCap Events - SCOPE OF WORK
Cavalcade Department StructureSetting-up of the department structure to ensure smooth
movement of Cavalcade Jelajah Malaysia 2009 asplanned. Tasks include appointment of personnel, assigning
job scope for each personnel; administer staff and crew duringpre-event and race day.
Cavalcade Team personnel breakdown:a. Secretariat.b. Volunteers - drivers and promoters.
c. Sponsors - Representatives of sponsorsduring the event
Cavalcade Route & ScheduleIdentify locations and towns along the race route to determinenumber of stops and duration of each stop for promotionalactivities on race days.
Promotional Activities
Plan promotional activities with the organiser and sponsors tocreate excitement for the public along the race routes and atthe start/finish areas.

Sponsors LiaisonCoordinating and assisting sponsors onfinalising all activities for pre-event and during
Jelajah Malaysia as stipulated in thesponsorship agreement.
LogisticsDetermining vehicle type and numbers requiredfor the cavalcade convoy, and ensuring vehicleconditions used for the event are in good order.
The task also includes installing these vehicleswith necessary equipment.
Design and Production
Liaise with organiser and sponsors on vehicledesigns and production according to standardas stipulated in the contract. The production
team will supervise vehicles production.

Managing cavalcade convoy to ensure smooth movementduring event as planned:-
a. Pre-Event Scheduleb. Cavalcade Schedulec. Hoteld. Petrole. Tollf. Allowancesg. Safety measures for team members and the public
ReportsSubmitting reports to update status and progress of tasksinvolved to the organiser. The Cavalcade Activity Report willalso be submitted to the sponsors after the event.
