New concepts for Engagement: Iv Bev

June 3rd, 2014

Page 2: IV BEV FIFA-Concepts for Engagement

Geek Creative had previously presented some concepts for the FIFA event.

FEEDBACK:

Page 4: IV BEV FIFA-Concepts for Engagement

The first idea which was about guessing which player would score a goal today, with a QR code stamped on their wrist, was selected.

New concepts to be presented.

Page 5: IV BEV FIFA-Concepts for Engagement

Geek Creative has come up with some new, interesting ideas.

All these ideas are created in unison to address multiple touch points to engage and interact with the audience at multiple levels.

New concepts:

Page 7: IV BEV FIFA-Concepts for Engagement

Concept 1: Cheer with Beer!

Page 8: IV BEV FIFA-Concepts for Engagement

A beer vending machine to have Budweiser beer.

The twist is, that this is no ordinary vending machine. This vending machine has a hollow goal post at the bottom.

Few metres away, a tape on the floor will demark a line, beyond which, a football will be placed.

Page 9: IV BEV FIFA-Concepts for Engagement

People get one chance to score a goal from behind the line, into the hollow goal post of the vending machine!

If they miss, then they don’t get anything. But if they do score a goal, a Budweiser beer pops out of the vending machine as a small prize!

A standee will be placed next to this vending machine. There will also be a signage above the kiosk which will tell the user what to do!

A football image will be stamped on to the wrist of each person who tried to score the goal, to ensure that one person can only try once.

Page 13: IV BEV FIFA-Concepts for Engagement

Why this works:

This is a fun way to get the people warmed up for all the upcoming goals for the match.

It also allows them to not only watch, but a chance to get a feeling of what it is to strike a goal when you have only one chance!

As a small reward for the goal, the person gets a can/ bottle of beer free! Happiness!

Concept 2: Get Jiggy with it!

Page 15: IV BEV FIFA-Concepts for Engagement

This is a very interesting and novel idea. There will be a booth in which people can go in and do a little jig in front of a video camera and a screen.

People have to come up with their own signature style of a jig that they would do if there was a goal in front of the camera and screen by pressing the record button on the screen.

Page 16: IV BEV FIFA-Concepts for Engagement

The camera records only 20 seconds and creates a video.

This videos automatically get displayed on the micro site, where the user has to collect maximum votes to get his jig more visibility.

There is a sharing feature on the micro site, where people can share this on social media to get more hits on the video on the micro site.

Page 17: IV BEV FIFA-Concepts for Engagement

As soon as the person is out of the booth, he goes ahead to the screen area.

Every time there is a goal, a video snippet of the jig with the maximum votes gets projected on an electronic screen at the venue with the word “Goallll!”

The next slide on the electronic screen will have the words: ‘Congratulations, Reshma, you just won yourself an Adidas T-shirt. Pls collect it from the counter!’

Later, all these 20 second videos can be compiled into a fun video which portrays the joy of football!

Page 21: IV BEV FIFA-Concepts for Engagement

Why this works:

There is entertainment and fun in this idea.

A lot of promotion will happen simultaneously on social media. This will increase TAT.

Its cool, fun and sporty, all at the same time.

We are not looking for dancers here, we are just asking people to show how they would express their joy if their team scored a goal in the form of a little jig by loosening up.

All these videos can be shared on the official FB page and the most unique and interesting videos can get viral.

There will be a crazy buzz around this!

Concept 3: Goal it!

Page 23: IV BEV FIFA-Concepts for Engagement

This is a simple and interesting idea which can be easily carried out. Since there will be a lot of men at this event, we can also encourage keeping the loo clean. Here’s how:

There will be a sensor on the inside of the loo and the guys have to aim at it.

If they do, then there is a sound of “Goalll …and clapping which will be heard in the loo.

Page 24: IV BEV FIFA-Concepts for Engagement

All that is required is a sensor, an audio clip of the ‘goalll…’ and the clapping sound along with a speaker in the loo.

This can be carried out even in a portable loo.

Page 25: IV BEV FIFA-Concepts for Engagement

Why this works:It’s a fun way to keep the place clean.

Note: This is not the big idea. Its an idea which can be clubbed in along with the other big ideas.

Page 26: IV BEV FIFA-Concepts for Engagement

Concept 4: Score for your favourite team!

Page 27: IV BEV FIFA-Concepts for Engagement

This idea is based on fan- following. Since there are serious, loyal fans which root for various teams, here’s what Geek came up with!

Page 28: IV BEV FIFA-Concepts for Engagement

There will be an electronic screen at the venue. A link offering free wifi will be displayed.

Once people are connected, they can go to our app called ‘Score it!’

Here’s what they have to do:

Page 29: IV BEV FIFA-Concepts for Engagement

At intervals during the match, the screen will project 2 animated images of a striker from each team eg: Messi and Rooney.

Under the images, will be instructions- Messi: swipe left, Rooney: rotate.

Page 30: IV BEV FIFA-Concepts for Engagement

Fans of Argentina have to swipe their phone to the left and fans of England have to rotate their phone.

After 20 seconds, both the animated characters will shoot the goal. If more people have swiped left for Messi, then the screen will show Ronaldo miss the goal and Messi will be shown to strike the goal.

The score will be displayed on the screen, next.

The match can resume.

This can be started again, during another break, with different animated players.

Page 31: IV BEV FIFA-Concepts for Engagement

Why this works: Football fans are crazily loyal. There is a lot of energy, tension and vibe, all at the same time among people.

They get ecstatic when their team scores.

This is like a fantasy moment, where all the fans collectively get to make their team score virtually!

This will also create great visual effects, give them some action during small breaks in the match as well as take a lot of videos and pictures of this activity and share it online.
