One example of a lever in a bike is the hand brakes.
The brake makes the bike stop moving. This makes it easier because you just push
on the handle and the bike will stop moving. If you didn’t have brakes, you would keep going until other forces slowed you to a stop.
Lever
In a bike, the two wheels are examples of wheels and axles.
The wheels spin to make the bike move. It’s important because that is how the bike
moves. Without wheels, the bike would never move. It makes work easier because wheels let the bike move.

An example of a pulley in a bike is the pedals.
When you pedal a bike, the spinning pedals turn the pulley of gears and make the bike move.
Without the pedals as a pulley, the bike would be able to move. It makes it easier than just pushing the bike.
Pulley
The screws hold the whole bike together. Without them, everything would fall apart
and you wouldn’t be able to go anywhere on your bike.

An example of an inclined plane on a bike is the bar that holds up the handle bars.
It allows you to be able to steer, which is important so you can ride in the right direction.
Inclined Plane
When you pump the tire, the needle you put in is a wedge.
It helps to pump the tire. It makes work easier because it’s easier to
ride when your tires aren't flat.
