What is Octopub?● Publishing data can be hard● Publishing data correctly can be even harder● Allows you to publish data with a full history● Anyone can collaborate● Lets you provide complete metadata
What is metadata?● Data about data● In our case:
○ Dataset name○ Description○ Publisher name○ Publisher website○ License○ How often the data is updated○ Name and description of each file
