Once there lived four friends in a forest. They were a mouse, a crow, a deer and a rabbit.

One day, the mouse, the crow and the deer were chatting under a tree. They suddenly heard

a scream. It was their friend, the rabbit. She was trapped in a hunter’s net.

The deer ran towards the hunter and lay near him. The crow acted as though he was pecking

the deer. The hunter thought the deer was dead. He put down the net and walked towards the deer.

The mouse quickly ran to the rabbit and bit the net. The rabbit was freed.
