We have organized a private bus to go all together to FabriQ and to the other venues, during this day. -

at 9:00 a.m.. in via Marconi, corner with Piazza Diaz. The place is very close to central Piazza Duomo.

Please be punctual because the bus can only stop for a few minutes in this central place.

Piazza Diaz is a square very close to Piazza Duomo, where the bus can stop briefly to pick us up.

The municipality of Milan has mapped a network of 62 coworking spaces (privately owned,

do not belong to Municipality) and provided public calls to give vouchers to co-workers that

would star their activity in one of the mapped spaces.

Visit and presentation of WeMake - Maker Space / Fablab: how a fablab works.

The municipality of Milan has mapped a network of 9 Fablabs/makers spaces (that are

private owned, do not belong to the Municipality). This one is somehow special and

collaborates with the Municipality in some projects such as Open Care (eu project).

example of re-use of abandoned space (this was a former industrial plant of 6000 squared

meters): you will visit the main hall, the Burò and CasaBASE. . BASE’s activities innovate the relationship between culture and economy, by hosting co

working spaces, a hostel, cultural programs, workshops, and much more.

The Milan Council decided to create this Museum in 2015, so to house and display the

ethnographic Permanent Collection that gives space to inclusion and diversity of cultures in

response to the need for recognition manifested by the foreign communities that have found

opportunities to develop and put down roots in the city. Free visit of 4 halls.

Some temporary exhibition hosted in the museum (fee 10 Euros): Klimt: an immersive

multimedia representation; Egitto: the tomb of the Pharaoh Amenhotep II, reconstructed on

a scale of 1:1.

The Museum closes at 10:30 p.m.

Milan’s civic crowdfunding project www.eppela.com/it/mentors/comunemilano

The City of Milan is the first municipality in Italy that has promoted a crowdfunding

platform dedicated to projects with high social impact in the city. The experimentation (year

2016) was successful. A new way for a Public Administration to fund projects of public and

social interest and at the same time engage citizenship that can directly support projects.
