GOAT BUILT TC-PUMP RELOCATION BRACKET

Thank you for purchasing Goat Built components, before starting your installation, we recommend that

you read through these instructions to familiarize yourself with the steps and parts so you can plan and

prepare for your install accordingly.

A few notes about the 4400 TC pump bracket:

This bracket kit is intended for 99 to current GM truck Vortec 4.8/5.3/6.0 pulley spacing,

including balancer, water pump, tensioner and idler.

You will re use your stock idler and tensioner

a TC pump is required, we recommend the PSC PP2402, 5.5" pulley

A 90 degree pressure fitting is required at the top of the pump

Belt routing in shown below, there are two different alternators commonly used on the GM

truck engines, in 2005 they switched to the larger case, if you have a 2005 engine, you could

have either alternator. The recommended belt for the 99-05 small case alternator is 90-1/8",

the larger 2005-current alternator case will be 91-5/8" belt. These lengths are not exact and

may vary and should be considered a starting point.

If you want to use an LS car intake and F-body water pump, you may need to use the optional

belt routing, you should also use the F-body tensioner. See the belt routing below in blue. You

will need 3/4" water pump spacers with the F-body water pump to get the pulley lined up.

1. Loosely install all the brackets, pump and bolts before you fully tighten any of the bolts.

2. Install the 4400-01 and 4400-02 brackets to the head using the two M10 x 120 bolts with the

2.01" spacers between the brackets and the 1.60" spacers between the 4400-02 bracket and

the head.

3. Install the 4400-03 bracket to the head using the M10x65 bolt and 1.073" spacer in the upper

hole of the 4400-03 bracket, and a .267 spacer between the two brackets, the bolt goes through

the 4400-02 and 4400-03 bracket. Install a M10x120 bolt with a 2.28 spacer, stacked with a

.267" spacer between the two bracketcs and a 1.073 spacer between the 4400-03 bracket and

the head. Install a M10x25 bolt in the side of the 4400-03 bracket into the side of the block.

Use the rear hole in the 4400-03 bracket if you are using truck accessories. Some blocks have a

tapped hole in the front of the block under the pump, a bolt is not include for this but you can

put an additional M10 x 25 bolt there.

4. Install the pump using the 8mm bolts, use a flat washer under the bolt heads and under the

nuts.

5. Install the alternator between the 4400-01 and 4400-02 brackets using an M10x80 bolt and

nylock nut, use a flat washer under the bolt head and nut.

6. Torque the 10 MM bolts to 40 ft-lbs, 8 mm bolts to 15 ft-lbs

7. Remove the stock bolt and spacer from the idler pulley. Install the idler to the 4400-01 bracket

using the 4400-04 spacer, 1/2" flange bolt and flange lock nut. Torque the idler bolt to 70 ft-lbs
