Turnkey Supplier of Lifting TechnologyThe company delivers high-quality lifting equipment and services to the offshore industry.
At all times we offer a wide range of high-quality lifting equipment from renowned Norwegian, European and Japanese suppliers. We also offer sale and hire of equipment.
IB Stavanger AS has signed framework agreements with several major clients in the offshore market, includ-ing Statoil, ConocoPhillips and Fabricom. In such agreements, our quality products are the default product, and delivered at agreed prices. One of the advantages of being a contract client with us is access to a ‘bank’. This bank contains the client’s lifting equipment which is not in use, certified for immediate use, either in connection with shut-downs or other needs that may arise.
Maintenance and certification Over 6,000 units are recertified every year, and our employees regularly undertake further training with manu-facturers and within our company. The equipment receives a unique annual upgrade at the specialist workshop. We are certified as an expert enterprise in several areas. The company has a quality management system pursuant to ISO 9001:2008, and is certified by Dovre Sertifisering. The company is also certified by the Norwegian Sertifi-seringsorganet for sakkyndig virksomhet AS and Achilles.
All of this ensures that the customers always have certified and approved lifting equipment and devices, handled by authorized personnel.
Wire workshopIB Stavanger AS has a dedicated department for production of wire slings. A brand-new 600-tonne and a 1,000-ton Talurit wire pressing machine provides fast delivery of all types of compositions. Professionals calculate strength and capacity, and are familiar with current legislation, so that the customer always receives the correct equipment.
SpecialitiesThe company performs a number of special engagements and deliveries in its field of expertise. Deliveries include a large number of equipment storage cases to ConocoPhillips, where lifting equipment and other tools for specific offshore tasks have been placed.
