Amnesty club joined in

demonstrations at Shell

Company in Thailand to

present them a petition

with the signatures of those

in Thailand who wish to

express their concern about

the effects of the oil

industry on the human

rights situation in the Niger

Delta We met with CEO of

Shell Thailand the response she made is the

same with Shell International Response She

kept saying about sabotage and illegal

activities She also said Shell contribute a lot to

support Nigeria government to improve people

situation She ask support from AI to help Shell

in get rid of illegal activities When we asked

for more detail particular cleaning plan they

informed that theyrsquore not in position have to get

information from Shell Nigeria They told that

they will forward our concern to Shell Nigeria

At the end we informed that we will keep

continue monitoring their performance
