1 Overview

The HP Insight Management WBEM Providers supply system management data through the Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) framework for HP ProLiant server platforms and options. These providers implement the profiles and data described in this document.

Use of the providers requires Windows Server 2008, and WMI.

2-1 Overview The following profiles are implemented, and files are installed by this provider.

2-3 Class implementations The following classes describe the base server implementation.

2-3-1 HP_WinComputerSystem HP_WinComputerSystem extends the class HP_ComputerSystem to model the base server. Only one instance of HP_WinComputerSystem is instantiated on a ProLiant server.
