HOW I BECAME A LAWOF ATTRACTION

LOTTERY WINNERShortly after learning about the Law ofAttraction, I decided to manifest aconsiderable amount of money to pay offbills and to get out of debt, so Iestablished an intention to attract$50,000.00 through the creative powerof the Universal Law. I chose the sum of$50,000.00 because I was a new studentof the Law of Attraction at the time, andthis particular dollar amount “felt” like

something that I could mentally andemotionally accept at the time. My firstimpulse was to manifest a larger amountof money, but because I was new to theseteachings and did not have muchexperience manifesting money up to thatpoint, I made that particular amount ofmoney my intention. A few months afterestablishing my intention, I won$50,000.00 in the California Lottery!Since then I have won several smallerprizes and one larger prize through theLaw of Attraction. In addition, I haveused the Law of Attraction to create alucrative business, to travel extensively,and to enjoy my life in many wonderfulways through the use of this creative

power. As a result of my success and thesuccess of others, I have no doubt thatevery individual has an inherent creativepotential that can be used to attractmoney, a partner, a new car, a new job, aplace to live, or even a lottery prize. Theonly limits we have are those that weplace upon ourselves through a lack ofbelief. Therefore, the purpose of thisbook is to help you expand your beliefsto manifest the money that you desirethrough the creative power of theUniversal Law.

Throughout the years I have spoken to a

number of people who have used the Lawof Attraction to win lottery and contestprizes. I have met these people throughfriends, at spiritual workshops and via theInternet. One particular lottery winner isnamed Melissa, who won $1,000,000.00on the lottery through the Law ofAttraction. Another lottery winner isnamed Jonathan, who won$2,000,000.00 on a lottery ticket afterlearning about the Law of Attraction andthen implementing a plan of action thatincluded the manifestation techniquespresented in this book. A person who is serious

about manifesting wealth through theLaw of Attraction must monitoreverything that he or she says. Everyword spoken must be considered creative,and will contribute to the overall mentalatmosphere of the person making thestatements. A person cannot be negativeone minute and still expect the UniversalLaw to deliver his/her desires unaffected.As a result, you must provide a positive,expectant mindset in order to make thispower work effectively.

In addition, the most effectiveaffirmations should reflect the followingqualities:

Spoken affirmations should beshort and to the point because

they lose their effectiveness if theyare too wordy. The mental energyrequired to remember a longaffirmation is better spent infeeling the reality of a short,powerful affirmation.Spoken affirmations should bepositive, uplifting, and they shouldmake you feel expectant whenrepeating them.Spoken affirmations should berepeated throughout the day. Astatement only spoken onceduring the day is not anaffirmation.All the words you speak areaffirmations to the Universal Law

of what you are and what youwant to have more of. Therefore,you should monitor all the wordsyou speak because there is creativepower in every word you utter.

CREATIVE VISUALIZATION: Each ofthe winners in this book has used thecreative power of imagination to win alottery prize. Daily, each person spenttime visualizing his or her desire as a wishfulfilled. Jonathan excelled in the use ofcreative visualization because he feltcomfortable using his imagination toexperience his desires as completed facts.During a telephone call one evening, heexplained: “I did not feel enthusiasticabout using affirmations alone, so I

added positive dialogue to my creativevisualization exercises, which helped mefeel expectant and made the exercises alot more fun.” Jonathan’s creativevisualization exercise will provide moreinsight into his particular manifestationtechnique. The two ladies who wereinterviewed, however, enjoyed usingspoken affirmations but they experiencedsome resistance when trying to visualizetheir desires as completed facts. Theylater learned to overcome thesechallenges by incorporating affirmativewords into their creative visualizationexercises.

It should be noted that men andwomen are emotionally “wired”

differently, so they often have muchdifferent experiences with spokenaffirmations and creative visualizationexercises. Men are more inclined to getexcited about what they can see orvisualize, such as a home run, a sports car,or an attractive person. As a result, menhave a head start in the area of creativevisualization but sometimes lack themotivation to repeat affirmationsregularly. Women, on the other hand,are emotionally wired in a way that ishighly responsive to words, the lyrics to asong, or the words written on a greetingcard. As a result, women have a head startin the area of spoken affirmations andtend to excel in this area. Of course, there

are some men and women who equallyenjoy using spoken affirmations andcreative visualization exercises. This ideahas been presented in order to make thereader more aware of the dynamics of thehuman personality as it relates to usingthe Law of Attraction effectively. Thefollowing manifestation techniques willaddress how each winner benefittedthrough the use of spoken affirmationsand creative visualization in spite of theirindividual challenges.EXPECTATION: Expectation is one ofthe most powerful tools you will use as aco-creator with the Universal Law. EveryLaw of Attraction lottery winner hassuccessfully used the power of expectation

to manifest a jackpot. It is very importantto understand that the Universal Law isset in motion through the power offeelings, and it will faithfully respond toall expectant feelings whether they arepositive or negative. Expectation is afeeling that is based in the certainty thatan event will take place. The grateful feelings thatyou express will attract more good thingsto be grateful for because all persistentfeelings will attract matchingcircumstances. This is why people whoare thankful attract more things to bethankful for while those who complainalways attract more events and

circumstances to complain about. Thelegendary inventor and mechanicalengineer Nikola Tesla wrote, “If youwant to find the secrets of the universe,think in terms of energy, frequency andvibration.” As we express feelings ofgratitude on a regular basis, our energy,frequency and vibration will attractevents and circumstances to match thesepredominant feelings. So, as you practicethe following manifestation techniques,be sure to fill your thoughts withgratitude for all that you have and for allthat comes your way, even if what youcurrently have is very little. For starters,as you commit to the followingmanifestation techniques you should be

thankful for the money that you have toplay your favorite lottery games. Youshould also be thankful for any lotteryprizes that you collect along the way tomanifesting your desired jackpot. Somepeople enjoy speaking words of gratitudefor all the good things that come to themwhile others use a gratitude journal towrite about everything they are thankfulfor. The method used is not as importantas your daily commitment to the act ofgratitude. The popular statement“whatever you THANK about, you bringabout” is not only a catchy phrase but astatement of great metaphysicalimportance.THE PRACTICE OF RECEIVING:

The Practice of Receiving is one of themost powerful Law of Attractionexercises that a person can use to attractmore money. For starters, when you arewilling to receive all that comes your wayyou are affirming to the Universal Lawthat you are open and willing to receivemore good things. By refusing what isoffered to you, you are affirming to thesame creative power that you are notwilling to receive whatever comes yourway. Do not take the practice ofreceiving lightly. Learn to say yes when aco-worker offers to pay for your lunch orwhen someone offers you a cup of coffee,and make sure you always pick up thepennies you find on the sidewalk. This

exercise is not about collecting coffee andpennies. It’s a powerful metaphysicalexercise that will open your mind to theflow of abundance as you begin to acceptmore. In addition, if you affirm andvisualize for prosperity yet you deny theflow of abundance in your life, you havecanceled your prosperity intention. Yourthoughts, feelings, words and actions areall affirmations to the Universal Law ofwho you are, so be sure to affirmabundance and prosperity in all that youdo. The author of this book has used thePractice of Receiving to align himself toprosperity and abundance. Themanifestation techniques in this bookwill further explain how to use this

powerful tool to prosper.

Law of Attraction Lottery Winner #1:Melissa

I was introduced to Melissa during aSunday service at Unity Church in Los

Angeles. Although Melissa has sincegotten married and moved to New YorkCity we remain in regular contact bytelephone and through e-mail.Throughout the years Melissa has won anumber of $500 prizes on scratch offtickets and a Powerball prize of$1,000,000.00 by matching five numberson a single ticket. After watching themovie THE SECRET and learningabout the creative power of thoughts,Melissa created an intention to win a “biglottery prize” through the Universal Law.While she did not specify exactly howmuch money she intended to win, sheused the creative power of visualization toimagine winning a lottery prize large

enough to pay off her bills, buy a newcar, and to take a vacation to Sydney,Australia. As a result, she always set thetone of her morning through the use ofspoken affirmations, which she enjoyedrepeating throughout the day. The nightI called for the telephone interview sheexplained that spoken affirmations alwaysmade her feel good, so she made them apart of her daily Law of Attractionschedule. Her favorite affirmation forfinancial abundance is: “Miracles nevercease! My life is overflowing withabundance, prosperity, and lots ofmoney.” Although she experimented witha number of affirmations that she foundin books, she claimed that she felt more

positive and expectant using thisparticular affirmation because she wroteit, so its words had subjective meaningfor her. She asked me to let my readersknow that she always used affirmationsthat made her feel positive and expectantwhen repeating them. She also kept asmall notebook filled with her favoriteaffirmations for prosperity and success.

Ever since Melissa was a teenager shehas been well aware of the power ofintention and in her ability to prosperthrough the creative use of thoughts andfeelings. As a young lady she wasintroduced to the prosperity teachings ofCatherine Ponder, whom she heard speaka number of times during Unity Church

services and at prosperity workshops inSouthern California. Catherine Ponder’sbook titled THE DYNAMIC LAWS OFPROSPERITY is Melissa’s all-timefavorite book on the subject, but she alsoclaims to have been influenced by thelegendary teachings of Neville Goddard,whose basic message is that “imaginingcreates reality.” For over forty yearsNeville Goddard taught millions ofpeople throughout the world that thehuman imagination is the creative powerof God in action, and that anyone caninfluence events in the physical worldthrough the controlled and persistent useof imagination. Although Neville hasbeen deceased for a number of years, his

books and teachings are so well knownthroughout the world that he was quotedin the popular Law of Attraction booktitled THE SECRET. Melissa’s favoritebook by Neville Goddard is THE LAWAND THE PROMISE because it is verypractical, easy to read, and has lots ofsuccess stories. She claimed that NevilleGoddard’s teachings encouraged her touse the power of creative visualization tomanifest the financial abundance shedesired. To date, she has manifested alucrative career, a new home inBrooklyn, profitable rental property, andlottery prizes through the creative powerof her thoughts and feelings.

Melissa’s Manifestation Technique:

Several times a day Melissa wouldimagine holding a large, symbolic lotterycheck with her name printed on it. Shewould imagine standing at lotteryheadquarters, surrounded by excitedonlookers who congratulate her onwinning a big prize. As she felt the realityof being a lottery winner, she wouldimagine hearing the words“Congratulations on winning thelottery!” and then she would mentallyrespond with statements such as “ThankYou!” and “I always knew I would winthe lottery!” She performed this mentalexercise over and over again until theexpectation and excitement of a lotterywin was a natural part of her beliefs and

feelings.Melissa would then imagine arriving at

the bank to deposit her lottery check. Shewould mentally see the bank tellercongratulating her on winning a jackpot,and she would excitedly respond bysaying, “Thank You! I love the feeling ofbeing a lottery winner! I always knew Iwould win.” She would visualize the bankteller counting out her cash withdrawal ofseveral thousand dollars, handing it toher, and then wishing her a wonderfulvacation in Australia. This exercise madeher feel very positive and expectant.

Since shopping always made Melissafeel happy, she would then visualize howhaving lots of shopping money would

make her feel. She would feelinglyexperience the reality of having lots ofmoney by imagining that her wallet wasfilled with cash. As she performed thisexercise she would mentally ask herselfthe question: How does having lots ofspending money make me feel? Howwould I feel if I could go to a store andbuy anything I wanted? She would thenimagine shopping at the Macy’sdepartment store in Manhattan. While inher imaginary store she would createscenes in which she would say to the salesclerk, “I will take this purse. I am payingcash.” She always felt good while doingthis manifestation exercise and theseprosperous feelings encouraged her to

visualize more often.Melissa performed this mental exercise

at least three times a day with presence ofmind, feeling and clarity. When she hadextra time on her hands, she did it morethan three times a day because theprosperous feelings she experienced feltvery good and became addictive. She didthis exercise morning, noon and justbefore bed. She often fell asleepimagining herself holding a large,symbolic lottery check while feeling theexcitement of a big lottery win. She soonrealized that large lottery checks weremade of a thick cardboard-like paper, soshe incorporated this fact into herexercises by imagining the weight of this

oversized check, thereby adding anotherdimension of reality to this exercise.During a phone call one evening Melissaexplained that nothing out of theordinary happened at first, but shepersisted with her manifestation exerciseand practiced gratitude with every win,even if she only won a few dollars or afree ticket. As she persisted with this dailyritual, she began to feel increasinglyexpectant about receiving a lot of money,and soon she won a prize of$1,000,000.00 on a quick pick shebought one morning on the way towork. Melissa excitedly told me, “EverySunday morning I check my tickets overa cup of coffee. Well, I nearly spit up my

coffee when I realized that I had won!The following morning I was at thelottery office to cash in my ticket. Thelottery official congratulated me, and itwas like Deja vu when I said: ‘Thankyou! I always knew I would win!’”

Melissa went on to explain that she hadexperimented with a number of creativevisualization exercises, but she felt mostcomfortable using the exercise in whichshe held the large lottery check. She toldme that this scenario felt “natural” to herbecause she enjoyed seeing winnersholding oversized checks at the televisedpress conferences. She also explained thather creative visualization exercise did nottake on life until she added dialogue to it.

She said that it was easier to feel thereality of this exercise when she imaginedhearing statements such as:“Congratulations on winning thelottery!” and “I always knew I wouldwin!” I explained to her that since somepeople are more responsive to spokenwords, dialogue can be added to thesemanifestation exercises for better results.As a result of the imagined dialogue inher manifestation exercises, she feltenthusiastic about doing them regularlybecause the words added a dimension ofreality that increased her expectation.Before our telephone call was over, Iasked Melissa if she wanted to share anymore information about her

manifestation technique, and sheimmediately replied, “Tell your readersthat it’s very important to persist infeeling the reality of having lots ofmoney than by figuring out how it willhappen. Do the inner work, and thenleave the details to the Universe. Visualizedaily and always be positive andexpectant, and you are guaranteed toattract money.”

An important note about expectation isthat it can be generated through the useof creative visualization exercises. Forexample, as we affirm, visualize, and feelthe reality of what we desire, we begin tocreate feelings of expectation within us.The more we use these exercises, the

greater is our expectation. During thecall, Melissa explained that she did notfeel expectant at first, but her expectationincreased as she persisted with hermanifestation exercises. Creativevisualization helps us becomecomfortable with what we want on anemotional level, and the more weimagine doing and having the things wedesire, the more comfortable we becomewith these things.

I met Jonathan during a meditationworkshop at a metaphysical book store inLos Angeles, California. He was happy toshare his experiences with the Law of

Attraction because he had recentlymanifested some wonderful thingsthrough the creative power of histhoughts, including a big lottery prize. Itold him that I had also used the Law ofAttraction to win lottery prizes, and afriendship instantly blossomed. Althoughhe had a busy schedule, he made time tomeet me for lunch one afternoon atCanter’s, a popular Los Angeles deli. Itold Jonathan that I was writing a bookwith the purpose of sharing themanifestation techniques of Law ofAttraction lottery winners, and he wasmore than happy to share his insights andmanifestation techniques.

Although Jonathan first learned about

the Law of Attraction when he wastwenty, he did not start using itintentionally until he was in his mid-thirties. By that time, he was ready for amajor change in life and was hopeful thathe could turn his life around by thinkingmore positive thoughts and by using thepower of creative visualization.Throughout his twenties he struggledwith money issues and held down anoffice job that kept him just above thepoverty level. With the money earned atwork he was able to pay for rent andgroceries, but he seemed to consistentlylack the necessary funds to enjoy life on alarger scale by eating at fine restaurantsmore often, buying the clothes he

wanted, and driving the car of hisdreams. His dream of financial freedomeluded him until he committed toharnessing the creative power of histhoughts, words and feelings. When Imet Jonathan he was attending theChurch of Religious Science, whichexposed him to the idea that all thoughts,words and feelings are creative. Theteachings of Dr. Ernest Holmes, whofounded the church, are taught withinthis spiritual community and throughoutthe world. Dr. Holmes was a greatspiritual teacher and visionary whosefundamental message is that we have thepower to change our lives by changingour thoughts. With this knowledge in

mind, Jonathan began paying closeattention to all his words, thoughts andfeelings with the understanding that hehad the power to create a more positivelife based upon the quality of his mentalstate. Little by little, as Jonathan clearedup his mental act and visualized daily, hebegan seeing positive changes in hispersonal and financial life. As a result ofhis commitment to inner growth, heentered a wonderful relationship with alady he met at church, he got a betterpaying job, and he soon won$2,000,000.00 on a lottery ticket that hebought one evening on the way homefrom work. He usually bought MegaMillions tickets but decided to buy a

scratch off ticket when he saw that thegrand prize was $2,000,000.00. It was onthis ticket that he won his big prize. Hesaid that he didn’t scratch his ticket thatevening because he was in a hurry to pickup his girlfriend for dinner, but he madea mental note to scratch it the followingmorning before leaving to work. Thatparticular morning was, according to hiswords, “the most exciting morning of mylife so far! I screamed so loud that I scaredmy dog!”

Jonathan eventually learned to use thecreative power of words to influence hisreality. “My life was once falling apart inmany different areas,” Jonathanconfessed as lunch was being served, “and

it was a result of the negative words I wasusing to describe my life.” He went on tosay that he had once been a negativethinker who used the power of his wordscarelessly. He confessed, “I would alwaysjoke about money, and I kept myself inlack and limitation through my negativewords. When I stopped joking about mymoney situation and learned to speakpositively about money, my life began tochange for the better. It started slowly atfirst, then it started influencing every areaof my life in a positive way.” Jonathanthen explained how he used the creativepower of his spoken word to attractprosperity and abundance. Each time hebought a lottery ticket he would say to

the clerk: “Give me the big winningticket!” In fact, he never bought a lotteryticket unless he made this particularstatement. His expectant demeanor wasso familiar with store clerks that theyoften smiled and said to him, “You’rehere for the big winning ticket!”

Jonathan’s Manifestation Technique:Three times a day Jonathan would

imagine what it would feel like to win thelottery. He would visualize himself sayingto the store cashier, “I’ll take the bigwinning ticket,” and then he wouldimagine the excitement of realizing thatit was a winner. Using focused attentionand as much excitement as he couldmentally and emotionally create, he

would imagine telling his best friend thathe had won the lottery. He persisted infeeling the excitement that he wouldexperience upon realizing that he was alottery winner. As he visualized he wouldask himself, “How would I feel to win thelottery?” And then he would imaginethose feelings with as much vividness andemotional intensity as he could imagine.He would then imagine calling hisgirlfriend to tell her that he had won ajackpot. He would experience the sameexcitement that he would feel if he hadactually won, and then he would imagineher congratulating him. This exercise feltso good that he would do it over andover as he became totally immersed in

the feeling of being a lottery winner. Asfar as his feelings were concerned, therewas no question that he was a lotterywinner.

In order to prolong his positive andexpectant feelings, Jonathan would thenimagine owning and driving the car ofhis dreams, a Corvette. He wouldimagine visiting the Chevrolet dealershipand telling the salesperson that he wasthere to buy his dream car. In hisimagination he would hear thesalesperson ask if financing was needed,and Jonathan would respond, “I can paycash.” He would imagine completing thepurchase, and then he felt the reality ofdriving his new car off the lot. Using as

much focused attention and emotion ashe could create within his imagination,he would experience the reality of drivinghome his dream car knowing that thepurchase was possible because of hislottery win. He would always end hisexercise by imagining that his friendswere congratulating him on his goodfortune. He would mentally hear hisgirlfriend and best friend tell him“Congratulations on winning thelottery!” and “You’re the luckiest guy Iknow!”As we continued eating I took theopportunity to delve deeper intoJonathan’s creative visualization exercisein order to gain more clarity about his

manifestation technique. I was curious toknow what the most important aspect ofhis exercise was, but I was not keptwaiting for an answer. Jonathanimmediately responded, “During myexercises, I spent quality time imaginingwhat I would do with my prize money. Imentally saw myself eating at nicerestaurants, going on vacations, andhaving lots of money in my bankaccount and my wallet. It was importantfor me to play an active role in thesemental scenes.” Jonathan explained thathis creative visualization exercisesincluded all the words he would say, thethings he would do, and the words andactions of the other people in his

imaginary scenes. Jonathan’s approach issimilar to that of another lottery winnerfrom Michigan, who won$66,000,000.00 on the Mega Millionsgame in 2014. During the official pressconference at lottery headquarters, the 24year old Michigan winner told reporters,“I always dreamed about winning andwhat I would do with the money.”

Since the question of “How long will ittake?” often comes up during Law ofAttraction workshops, I decided to askJonathan how long it took to manifesthis lottery win. He answered by sayingthat winning his prize took about sixmonths of committed spiritual work thatincluded creative visualization exercises

and affirmations. His favorite affirmationwas: “I love the thought of being a lotterywinner. I am the luckiest guy I know,and I always attract lots of money andfinancial abundance.” Jonathan told methat his manifestation took time becausehe had to work past the negativity anddoubt that was in his mind, but as hecommitted to this spiritual work hegradually transformed his limiting beliefsand became comfortable with having lotsof money. “Six months of commitment,”said Jonathan, “is what it usually takes meto make a major manifestation becausethat’s how long it takes to establish myintention and then visualize my desireinto manifestation.”

I then asked Jonathan if he thoughtthat repeating the same exercise day afterday was boring. He responded by sayingthat he would often spice up hismanifestation exercise by imagining thathe was watching the lottery drawing onTV. “As I did this,” Jonathan explained,“I would imagine how I would feel tomatch all the numbers on my ticket. Iwould also imagine that my picture wason the lottery website showing me as awinner. These little variations helped mebreak the routine of doing the sameexercise every day.”

Before we finished our meals and leftthe restaurant I asked Jonathan if hewanted to share any other information

I met Jennifer through an online Lawof Attraction forum. She lives and worksin San Francisco, California, and has

been studying the Law of Attraction sinceshe was first introduced to these spiritualtruths by a coworker. She and Iexchanged messages back and forth for amonth before we actually chatted on thephone. Upon entering therestaurant, Jennifer and I instantlyrecognized each other among the waitingcrowd because we had exchanged photos

via e-mail. After a few moments, we wereseated in the patio and ordered breakfastas locals walked by in the crisp morningair.

Jennifer clearly understood that thecreative power of words is found in theway they make a person feel. “If anaffirmation did not feel right for me,”Jennifer said, “I would not use it again. I

would rewrite it or use an affirmationthat made me feel positive.” As Iinterviewed Jennifer I realized that sheunderstood just how creative words are.During breakfast she made a statementthat has been in my thoughts ever since.Her memorable statement was, “Whenyou realize how powerful your words are,you guard every word that comes out ofyour mouth.” I had to agree with herstatement because I believe in the creativepower of words and in their ability tocreate matching circumstances basedupon their nature. Words spoken todaymight not manifest as circumstances thisweek, but sometime down the road allthe words we speak will meet us with the

same creative intensity with which theywere spoken. In early 2014 I attended aWednesday evening service at the AgapeInternational Spiritual Center in CulverCity, California. Dr. Michael Beckwith,who was featured in the movie THESECRET, delivered a powerful messagethat night titled: “Your Words: Propheticor Pathetic?” During his insightfulmessage he talked about the creativepower of words and their ability to creatematching circumstances. He said that ourwords are prophetic and must becarefully monitored because of theircreative nature. During the interviewwith Jennifer that morning I realized thatshe was well aware of the creative power

of the spoken word.

Jennifer’s Manifestation Technique:Jennifer’s Manifestation Exercise

contains three important elements:spoken gratitude, spoken affirmationsand creative visualization.

At least three times a day Jenniferwould walk around her apartment andgive thanks for everything she owned,including her television, the food in hercabinets and even for her comfortablebed. She would also give thanks for themoney in her purse and for her job. Shewould make statements such as, “I amthankful for my job, my apartment, andfor all my friends. I am thankful for mychildren and my boyfriend.” As she

entered into the spirit of gratitude, shewould think about more things to bethankful for, and she would even givethanks for the simple blessings sheexperiences daily, such as fresh air, herreliable car, and for the coffee that sheenjoys each morning. Jennifer believesthat a person cannot experience increasedprosperity until she can be thankful forwhat she currently has. She believes thatas we express gratitude on a daily basis,we open channels of increased abundancein all areas of life. She said that one sureway to increase finances is to feelthankful for the money that youcurrently have, even if it is a smallamount.

Once Jennifer finished speaking wordsof gratitude for all her possessions, shewould begin speaking the affirmationsthat she wrote. She would repeat heraffirmations until she felt the truth of herwords. Her favorite affirmation to beginwith was: “My spoken word now releasesall the abundance that is mine by divineright! Unexpected doors open andunexpected channels now release all themoney and opportunities that I need.” Asshe repeated this affirmation with feeling,she would imagine that her purse wasfilled with money. She would alsoimagine that her bank statement reflecteda large balance. As she continued toaffirm words of abundance, she would

feel the reality of owning and driving anew car, shopping for clothes whenevershe wanted, and having enough moneyto save each month. Jennifer’s spokenaffirmations always made her feel positiveand expectant, so she used spokenaffirmations as she visualized winning abig lottery prize. While speakingaffirmations she would imagine theexcitement that she would feel as a lotterywinner. She would imagine buying aticket, checking her numbers after thedrawing, and then she would feel theincreasing excitement of realizing thatshe held a winning ticket. She performedthis exercise over and over until she feltlike she was a lottery winner. Because

spoken words made her feel positive andexpectant, she would vividly imaginesaying to her mother, “I won a big lotteryprize! I finally won a jackpot!” And thenshe would imagine her mothercongratulating her on the big win. At theend of the day, she would perform thisexercise again just before bed, and thenshe would fall asleep in the excitement ofbeing a winner. Performing this exercisebefore sleep would often result in vividdreams about winning the lottery andhaving lots of money. Jennifer wouldwake up after each of these dreamsfeeling excited and expectant about herimpending manifestation.

As we sipped coffee I asked Jennifer

what she experienced the day of herlottery win. She replied by saying, “Theday I won my lottery prize was nodifferent than any other day. I went towork as usual, then picked up dinner andlottery tickets before going home thatevening. The store clerk told me that theFantasy Five jackpot was big that nightbecause it had rolled over, so I decided tobuy two tickets.” Jennifer was veryexcited a few days later when she checkedher numbers on the lottery website todiscover that she had won a big prize.Shortly after receiving her lotterypayment, she bought a new Volkswagenand then went shopping for new clothesjust as she imagined.

Jennifer is a unique student of the Lawof Attraction because she uses amanifestation journal to record her dailyprogress. Using a large spiral-boundnotebook, she writes down newaffirmations, makes lists of various thingsto be thankful for, and she tracks herspiritual progress as she manifests the lifeof her dreams. As she uses hermanifestation journal daily, she remainsfocused on her goals and records all thegood things that happen as a result of herchanging consciousness. If she receives agift, or finds money, or receives adiscount at a store, she records it in hermanifestation journal so that she canfocus on all the good things that happen

to her. She claims that the daily use of herjournal has helped her become moreaware of the increasing abundance that isa result of her daily spiritual work. “Mymanifestation journal,” Jennifer said aswe left the restaurant, “has helped meunderstand that I truly have the power tomanifest my dreams through the powerof my words, thoughts and feelings.”

Jennifer still uses her manifestationjournal and continues to use gratitude,affirmations and creative visualization ona daily basis. These days she is enjoyingincreasing prosperity and abundance inall areas of her life. Although she is veryhappy with her first major manifestation,her intention is to win at least a million

I won my first lottery prize of$50,000.00 about six months afterlearning about the Law of Attraction andcommitting to a daily action plan thatincluded study, spoken affirmations,creative visualization exercises and thepractice of receiving. These people affirm forprosperity and abundance, they visualizedaily, but they fall short of aligning to thenature of the Universal Law because they

hold on to negative thoughts and feelingsabout situations, people, and themselves.The person who wants to manifestmoney through the Law of Attractionmust closely monitor all thoughts inorder to use this power effectively. On apersonal level, this meant that I had toeliminate all negative thoughts andfeelings about situations and people. Ialso stopped gossiping and complainingbecause these are negative habits that havethe tendency to place a person out ofalignment with the Universal Law, whichis characterized by peace, balance andharmony. In an effort to be morepositive, I learned to spend more timeentertaining uplifting thoughts instead of

focusing my energy on negativity andinharmonious thoughts and feelings. As Ilearned to monitor all my thoughts andfeelings more closely, my life took on apositive charge. Money came to memuch easier, I got raises at work, peoplegave me gifts, I took wonderful tripsmore often, and I won some wonderfullottery prizes. These fortunate eventswere proof that I had finally learned toharness the power of the Universal Lawthrough positive living and thinking.

I also learned that I would have betterresults with the Law of Attraction if Iallowed this creative power to manifestmy desire for more money through anychannel of expression. In other words, I

did not limit the Universal Law byexpecting it to manifest my desire for lotsof money through the lottery. I wantedto win a big lottery prize, and I regularlypurchased tickets, but I realized that alottery win was among the manychannels through which my financialabundance could materialize. As a result,I was open to receiving money from anychannel that the Universal Law allowed. Ifeel that this is an important point tomention because the infinite, creativepower of the Universal Law is unlimitedand has the power to manifest our desiresfrom any number of channels. It canmanifest a cure for cancer just as easily asit can manifest ten million dollars for the

person who uses this power correctly andconsistently. Because I was open toreceiving money from any number ofchannels, lots of money came into mylife through expected and unexpectedchannels.

An important metaphysical habit that Iadopted at this time was the practice ofreceiving. I learned about this powerfulpractice in a lecture by a popular spiritualteacher named Stuart Wilde. He stressedthe importance of being a good receiveras a way to connect to the ever expandingflow of abundance in the universe. As aresult, I learned to say yes to whatevercame my way in terms of money, gifts,meals, or anything that was offered to

me, even if it was something small andinsignificant, such as a cup of coffee. Myacceptance of whatever came my way wasa repeated affirmation to the UniversalLaw that I was a good receiver who wasopen to receiving prosperity. As a result, Ipicked up all the pennies that I found onthe sidewalk as affirmations that I wasopen to receiving financial prosperityand abundance from the Universal Law.At first, I felt a bit uncomfortable sayingyes to everything that people offered me,but I became more comfortable as Ipracticed receiving on a daily basis. Thepractice of receiving helped me realizethat my positive actions were attractinggreater opportunities, and it helped me

learn a very important lesson, which isthat affirmations of action are just asimportant as affirmations of thought andword. If I affirmed that I was rich andprosperous, for example, but I passed upa free meal or a gift, I was making a verystrong statement to the Universal Lawabout my willingness to receive.Therefore it is very important to say yesto whatever comes your way even if youend up giving it away. As you learn tobecome a better receiver, the Universewill send you bigger and better things toreceive. The Universal Law is able andwilling to manifest all the money wedesire, but we must align to this power inthought, word and action in a way that

reflects the perfect union of our thoughtsand actions. As I got into the spirit ofaccepting everything that came my way, Ibegan to receive money in manywonderful ways: I was given money,found money, got discounts atrestaurants, won numerous casinojackpots and contests, and I eventuallywon lots of money through the lottery.As I reflect on my spiritual development,I can honestly say that the practice ofreceiving was one of the most powerfultools that I used on a daily basis because ithelped me feel expectant and excitedabout manifesting more wonderfulthings, especially money. As I generatedstrong feelings of expectation through the

practice of receiving, the money I desiredcame to me easily and effortlessly in theform of lottery prizes and through otherchannels of expression. A person whowants to manifest money through theLaw of Attraction must become a goodreceiver.

Another powerful tool that I learned toenjoy and appreciate is creativevisualization. For at least a centuryinsightful teachers, spiritual writers andenlightened masters have taught aboutthe immense power of creativevisualization. In more recent times, newage writers, motivational speakers,workshop facilitators and athletes havedemonstrated the power of creative

visualization in goal setting andaccomplishment. In a nutshell, creativevisualization is a spiritual exercise thatanyone can use to change outercircumstances by changing thoughts,feelings and expectations. As we take timeto visualize our desires, we accomplish anumber of goals on a spiritual level:

Creative visualization helps usclarify what is important to us.Creative visualization helps uscreate a mental blueprint of ourdesires.Creative visualization helps usbecome comfortable with what wedesire. If we do not feelcomfortable with what we desire,

we will find that its manifestationis impossible. The morecomfortable we are with havinglots of money, the easier it willmanifest through the Law ofAttraction.

Eddie’s Manifestation Technique:Three times a day for fifteen minutes

each session, I would sit somewherecomfortable and imagine that I was rich.I would experience the reality of owninga Gucci wallet filled with $100 bills. Ialso imagined having lots of cash in mypockets and in my bank account, and Iwould imagine having several bundles ofone hundred dollar bills in my hands. AsI imagined having lots of money, I felt

the reality of spending and saving asmuch money as I desired. In my mind, Isaw myself at the mall buying clothes,shoes, and cologne. I also imaginedeating at expensive restaurants withfriends. As I performed this exercise, Iaffirmed: “I have all the money andfinancial prosperity that I need to live arich and abundant lifestyle. I always havelots of money to spend and save.” As Imentally repeated these words, I felt thetruth of these statements. I always beganmy creative visualization exercise this wayin order to establish a strong feeling ofprosperity and abundance. I performedthis exercise even if feeling rich andprosperous was challenging. Eventually,

it became easy to feel rich and prosperousas I persisted with this manifestationexercise.

Part two of this exercise involved mevisualizing that I was a lottery winner. Iwould imagine checking my lotteryticket, and then I would feel increasingexcitement as I realized that my ticketmatched all the winning numbers drawn.I felt exactly what I would feel had Imatched all the numbers drawn. Iimagined telling friends and familymembers that I was a lottery winner, andI vividly imagined how it would feel tobe at the lottery office to sign thepaperwork required to collect mywinnings. I mentally saw the clerk at the

lottery office congratulating me on mywin. The most important aspect of thisexercise is that I tried to feel exactly howI would feel as a winner. Throughout theexercise I would occasionally ask myself,‘How would I feel if I won the lottery?’and then I would use my imagination tofeel the excitement of being a winner. Iwould do this over and over again withfeeling and presence of mind until I feltthe reality of winning the lottery.

As mentioned, it took approximatelysix months of committed spiritual workto manifest a lottery prize of $50,000.00.As I continued to use the Law ofAttraction on a daily basis I won anotherprize of $193,600.00. During this time I

was very committed to learning as muchas I could about the Law of Attractionwhile doing the daily exercises that wouldhelp me manifest my desires. Animportant fact I learned about the Law ofAttraction is that it is not a stagnantpower, but a force that is set in motionthrough committed, daily action. This iswhere many people get stuck becausethey read lots of books about the Law ofAttraction, but they fail to use this powereffectively through a lack of dailycommitment. This power is more thanwilling to manifest the desires of yourheart, but you must learn to work with itthrough your thoughts, feelings andactions on a consistent basis.

QUESTION: Should I buy lots oflottery tickets?

ANSWER: Absolutely not. You shouldbuy a few tickets and stick to a budget.The creative power within you does notrequire lots of tickets to work. In fact, bypurchasing a lot of tickets you actuallyaffirm that you are unsure aboutwinning. Purchasing a few tickets allowsyou to concentrate your intentionalpower, and you will have better results

this way. Throughout the years manypeople have won big lottery jackpots,sweepstakes, contests, and otherwonderful prizes by purchasing one ortwo tickets. In May 2013 a lady inFlorida won a jackpot of nearly 600million dollars with one single ticket, andin California a man who believed in thecreative power of intention won a lotteryjackpot with one single scratch off ticket,so it is not necessary to buy lots of ticketsto win. The important fact is to create aconsciousness of abundance in yourthoughts and feelings so that you willmanifest the money you desire.
