HOW TO GUIDE

Always Synchronize pieces if they have been flipped or rotated.

The ‘Roll Line’ needs to be marked on the pattern using an Internal Line. In this example Create Parallel has been used

to create a line close to the neck seam. Use Create Parallel, Draft or Arc to create an internal for the roll line.

The Piece location will be Collar Folded.

Note: If there are multiple internal lines on the collar, select the ‘Roll Line’ before selecting the location.

Tip: If you have already set the Collar location and find that the piece orientations is incorrect you will need to

clear the collar information.

1. Flip/ Rotate the piece for proper piece orientation and synchronize

2. Using the Select Stitch tool, select the stitch on the ‘roll line’ and delete it

3. Change the Location from Collar to Collar Stand then back to Collar to reset the ‘roll line’ stitch

Buttons

After there is a line of buttons on the shirt you can use those buttons to stitch the garment closed.

There are 2 scenarios:

1. Working with a whole garment (No set Half or paired pieces)

2. Working with half the garment (Set Half and paired pieces)

1. Working with the whole garment use the Stitch tool to stitch the buttons together connecting the button and

the button hole (Both will be marked with Buttons on the pattern), repeat for all buttons.

HOW TO GUIDE

1. Working with half the garment use the Stitch tool to add a stitch to a button. Right click (away from the

button) to cancel the second stitch, repeat for all buttons. Use the Select Stitch tool to select the buttons (one

at a time or all at once with Shift or by dragging a box around them). Open the 3D properties window and

check the box for symmetric. In 15.6 and higher you can right click and select Stitch to Self-Symmetry.
