* CHARCOAL IS THE MOST VERSATILE For career fairs and interviews a neutral suit color works the best; Grey, Black, Charcoal and Navy are all great options that can be dressed up or down with shirts, ties, and accessories.

* YOUR BOTTOM BUTTONA 2 button suit looks best on most guys and always remember to keep the bottom unbuttoned. Also remember to keep the jacket buttoned when standing and unbutton it when you sit.

SLIM AND STYLISHThere are lot of basic little things that go into making a suit look nice. A major aspect is how the suit fits, does it hug your frame without pulling, the lapels shouldn’t bulge out, there shouldn’t be a lot of pulling at the back and the arms should be long enough to just show a 1/4” - 1/2” of sleeve.

* FLAT FRONT FABYou want to wear flat front pants, they help you look slimmer and don’t add any extra bulk in your mid section. Furthermore you should wear pants that are the appropriate size, they shouldn’t need a belt to keep your pants up.

* LIGHT BREAK-UPThe pant break is the place where the pants hit your shoes. There are 3 basic breaks: A large break, medium or light break or no break. The best option to go with would be a light break. For a fashion forward look you could go with no break. We rarely recommend a large break.

*THE TWO FINGER TESTA shirt should fit without a lot of billowing. A shirt is measured in 2 numbers, a measure of the neck and arms, you should be able to fit 2 fingers in the neck.

* HIT THE BUCKLE You don’t want your tie to be too long or too short, a good rule of thumb is to have the tip of it hit the top of your belt buckle.

* FOUR IN HAND IS THE HANDIESTYou’ll want to go with simple knot, we reccomend either a four-in-hand knot or a half windsor. Both give a small to medium sized knot that works with most fabrics and widths of ties.

PLAIN & PATTERNMatching a shirt and tie is one of the most difficult things for guys to get right. A good rule of thumb is to match a patterned tie with a plain shirt or match a plain tie with a patterned tie. Make sure tie is darker than shirt.

* PICK ONEDon’t go overboard with styling and accessories. For best results, just wear one stylish thing, is it a tie clip? A pocket square? A pattern? Just pick one thing to and run with it!
