SUMMER SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAMThis program can also be found online at www.townsville.qld.gov.au Townsville City Council has endeavoured to provide a number of activities during the school holidays that assist in the inclusion of children with disabilities or additional needs, young people from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds and from culturally and linguistically Diverse backgrounds. These activities aim to remove barriers and provide social opportunities for all children, with the purpose of building capacity and inclusion within the Townsville community.

All Townsville City Council events are drug and alcohol free.All activities are FREE unless otherwise specified.

Join us here at CityLibraries Townsville and become an awesome reader at the Investigation Summer Reading Club, where you can explore mysteries, hunt down clues and become a master of disguise with some of your favourite authors.

When children read just five books, they’ll get a free book to take home and receive other incentive prizes for every five books read up to a maximum of 25 books.

to the Summer Reading Club. Then call into any CityLibraries Townsville branch and collect your FREE Summer Reading Club Pack.

The theme for this year’s Summer Reading Club is Investigation. Young people will be encouraged to engage with our libraries to discover and enjoy stories and activities that intrigue, puzzle and provide a sense of suspense and adventure.
