Two Plays with a Theme
Juniors and Infants were able to reflect upon one or two important themes presented by thetheatre company, Shooting Star Entertainment. In the morning, the play for the Juniors wasabout safety when using the internet. Clearly access to the internet is now part of everyone’s life,but there are pitfalls as well of course and how useful that children in Years 3 - 6 had a chance tothink about these.
In the afternoon Infants explored themes about relationships: what it means to be a friend, howwe should not be involved in unpleasant or unkind behaviour, what is meant by “bullying”, howto deal with unwelcome situations. Again, a very useful opportunity to think about these matters.
Parents’ Council - Additional Autumn Meeting
