Coming Soon! Vacation Bible School!

We, as a congregation, are excited to welcome our new pastor,

Reverend Randall Bryan Gunter. Bryan and his wife Amy, and

children, Madison and Talmadge, are in the process of relocating from

Blackshear Georgia. Bryan has been working for the glory of God on

our behalf since January 1, 2017. His family however, is still in

Blackshear.

Continue to pray for the will of God to be working in their lives during

this period of transition. May God Bless you and your family as you

have been a blessing to us.

This year our vacation bible school will be held from

June 19-23. Our theme this year is Galactic Starveyors

and our scripture focus is Colossians 1:15-16

Congratulations to our very own Tyler Starnes for being selected as

Drum Major for the Rye Cove High School Marching Band for the

2017 marching season. Tyler is currently a Sophomore and is the son

of J.C. and Freda Starnes. Also, a big congratulations to Emilee

Jerrell for being selected as Assistant Drum Major. Emilee is

currently an eighth grader and is the daughter of Scott and Allison

Jerrell.

THOMAS VILLAGE

Paul and Marian Arwood welcomed a grandson, Jericho Paul Arwood! He was born on

January 13, 2017. He weighed 7 lbs, 4 oz and was 21.5 inches long. Parents are Caleb

and Ashley Arwood.

The Senior Adults enjoyed a St. Patrick’s Day Dinner and entertainment.

The meal was catered by Smoke-N-Pig in Gate City.

Happy Spring Everyone!

There were 12 ladies that took a firearm safety class on Saturday, February 4th. We all felt very confi-

dent when all was completed. It was truly a great time of learning and fun.

We raised $520.00 at our March 12th Soup/Sandwich luncheon to offset the cost of the upcoming 2017

Women's Conference. I want to shout out a big '"Thank you" to all who made this possible.

We as Women on Missions are involved in a new ministry called "Moms in Prayer". If you would like

information on this new ministry, please contact me and I can give you the information you need.

Our Priscilla Shirer Simulcast is this Saturday, April 8th at 10:00 am at the church in the sanctuary.
