Simplified Billing

ONE BILL

Bills from multiple carriers can be difficult to compare. Granite consolidates all your phone bills from the US and Canada, making it easy to keep track of spending and ensure each location has the tools it needs to operate at peak performance.

FLEXIBLE BILLING OPTIONS

Our high standard of service is also reflected in our billing system, which is singular in telecom billing in its clarity and honesty, echoing our efforts to earn your trust on a daily basis. Granite’s customers have the option of receiving a single bill at the corporate level or bills separated by individual location, department, or general ledger code to allow easy integration into customer payment systems. Choose to receive your bill in Excel, CSV, PDF, or via EDI.

BILL COMPATIBILITY

Granite has always supported our customers’ efforts to understand and manage their own billing. For this reason, Granite has adopted the telecom standard EDI format for transmission of billing information. Once this has been parsed by your ETL process it can be used by a wide variety of billing systems including Microsoft, Oracle, QuickBooks, Lawson, JD Edwards, and Great Plains.

Should you choose to use a Telecom Expense Management firm to help analyze your consolidated bill, Granite will be happy to support a data transfer. TEM vendors that Granite has collaborated with on our clients’ behalf include Ecova, Asentinel, Calero, Cass Information Systems, Hubspan, Razorsight, IBM’s Emptoris Rivermine, Tangoe, and Teoco.

WHOLESALE ALL OVER

We have wholesale agreements with all major carriers in the US and Canada, which allows us to offer discounts on voice services to our clients. We work with just about everyone, including Verizon, AT&T, CenturyLink, Frontier, Fairpoint, Bell Canada, and Telus.

MVP - MPLS VELOCITY PRODUCT

Granite’s MPLS product offering provides the same customer service and bill consolidation benefits as all of our other services, while providing secure and affordable options for clients with more complex communication needs.

TECHNOLOGY STRATEGY

Our MPLS backbone network consists of co-location facilities in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Dallas. These four (4) locations are each serviced by redundant circuits provided by different carriers. Granite has collocated soft switches in NY and LA as well as two (2) off-site back-up locations for disaster recovery. You will benefit from using Granite’s meshed MPLS network as it provides enhanced cost savings and rerouting options. Unlike in a standard MPLS network infrastructure, where all locations must be on the same provider network, Granite’s meshing ability allows for combining links from different providers.

We are able to offer our meshed MPLS network due to our long-standing agreements and interconnections with underlying local loop providers, as well as our multiple NNIs (Network-to-Network Interfaces), which allow the normalization of QoS across different carriers.

ADVANTAGES

- Reliability - Auto-failover via monitoring, reporting, and alerting of system disruptions

- Security - Private fixed IP network and IPSEC VPN capabilities

- Coverage - Multi-carrier, single platform solutions to ensure proper coverage

- Speed - 3G and 4G pooled usage at highly competitive rates

CONTINUITY ANYWHERE

Granite’s wireless backup data plans and M2M capable equipment combine to provide a cost effective, reliable solution to help protect your business from telecom outages, ensuring that critical communication systems remain online at all times at affordable prices.

WIRELESS BACKUP

Wireless Backup from Granite adds an always-available wireless network path to your existing wired data connectivity to provide maximum coverage reliability. Our solution complements existing technologies, such as Cable, DSL, T1’s, and MPLS networks. Smart fail-over technology allows your business to instantly and seamlessly switch to a wireless data connection if there is a primary network disruption of any kind - from basic network outages to severe weather damage.

CUSTOMIZED BY LOCATION

Granite’s Wireless Backup services will treat each of your locations as a unique opportunity to provide an exact solution. By working with wireless providers across the US and Canada - including AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Rogers - Granite is able to recommend the best provider for each individual location.

PROACTIVE MONITORING

Our Network Operating Center will monitor all WiFi devices using our SNMP-based monitoring software. When we spot an imminent device failure, our technician will contact you to coordinate a repair and instantly dispatch a technician to replace the device.

RAPID RESPONSE REPAIR

Our network of over 4000 certified field service technician partners allows us to effect most repairs in under 4 hours. Our partner code of conduct guarantees that speed and service quality will go hand-in-hand for all of your network integration needs.

SIMPLE AND SECURE WIRELESS NETWORKING

Wireless internet access has become an increasingly essential part of business. Granite sells managed WiFi for a variety of purposes, including internal business and public-facing use. With Granite Managed WiFi, you can focus on what you do best, whether that’s baking the best cakes on Main Street, designing the next innovative product, or managing a multi-national corporation.

Our goal is to free our clients from the frustrations of having to run their own business while also managing an ever-more-complex array of communications services. We have years of experience in managing business communications.

FLEXIBILITY FOR CLIENTS

If you are providing WiFi to a variety of clients, as in a multi-tenant property like a mall, WiFi services can be carved up so that your customers can purchase something that meets their particular needs. A kiosk can run a secure wireless connection for their POS devices, whereas an anchor store can provide guests WiFi access in a co-located cafe.

TIP-TO-TAIL INSTALLATION

Granite’s in-house Structured Cabling division allows us to provide an order-to-install solution that fits your needs. We can wire the access points and locate them throughout the shopping center, or we can use existing access points that have multiple radios and use one frequency to form a wireless mesh and the other to transmit a data signal.
