• As a new person in Christ we

learn that we must develop a new

lifestyle focused on serving God.

• What did God call us to do now

that we are His new creation?

• Let us search the Scriptures for

God’s instruction on these things.

Do Good With

All Your Might • We know that God wants us to

abhor what is evil and cling to

(do only ERV) what is good.

Romans 12:9; 1 Thes. 5:22

• Our new life in Christ will cause

to live as 1 Peter 3:11

commands, “Let him turn away

from evil and do good; Let him

seek peace and pursue it.”

All Things Become New 2 Corinthians 5:17

• All our deeds are to be done to

serve God. Matthew 4:10

• All our motives change.

Luke 9:23; 1 Corinthians 16:14

• All of our life is submitted to God.

James 4:4-8; 1 Peter 5:5-7

• All our work now looks for our

eternal home. Titus 2:11-14;

2 Peter 3:10-14

Go and Do What God Says!

• We are called to do much good

according to what God has

commanded. Mt. 5:16; Col. 3:17

– This follows Christ… Ac. 10:38

• Do all things Christ has

commanded. Matthew 28:20

• Do all things as to the Lord.

Mt. 25:40, 45-46; Eph. 6:6-7

• “Go and do likewise!”

Luke 10:29-37

• Let us develop this zeal that wants to and

does do God’s will with all of our ability!

– Like Paul had… Romans 1:15; Phil. 1:20

– So we must be dedicated! 1 Cor. 15:58

– As Jesus shows us, our time is limited. Jn. 9:4

• Obey Jesus and become a new creation

in Christ today! 2 Cor. 5:17; 2 Tim. 2:10

– Hear & believe… Rom. 10:17; 1:16

– Repent… Acts 2:38

– Confess… Acts 8:37

– Be baptized… Acts 22:16; Gal. 3:27
