Spanish Welcome: Welcome to Mr. James Albert who began teaching Spanish to our students today(Kindergarten and 1st grade will begin next Friday as we had an assembly today)! We are very excited to beable to offer this educational opportunity to our students!
Mardi Gras: Last call for Mardi Gras Tickets! Tickets are $135 and are available in the school office oryou can contact Joann Johnson at 527-3077. Mardi Gras is next Saturday, March 5th.

From the School Board: We, the 2010-2011 SS. Peter and Paul School Board, support the decision of ourPastor, Fr. Tom Boufford, our Principal, Julie Palmer, and our Business Manager, Adam Rewa, to accept theresignation of Mr. Andrew Cusack as the maintenance man, and the departure of Mrs. Melissa Cusack fromher position as school secretary for SS. Peter and Paul Parish and School. We thank Mr. & Mrs. Cusack fortheir service to the parish and school and wish them well in future employment opportunities. As always, weremain committed to the continued growth of our school and parish community that is rooted in Catholic val-ues and education.
Athletic News: The Boys' Basketball and Girls' Cheerleading Sports Banquet will be on Monday, February28th, at 6pm in Apostles Hall. Please being your own place settings and a dish to pass. A-K: Vegetable/Salad, L-P: Desserts, Q-Z: Main Dish. Uniforms should be turned in at this time.Girls' 7th/8th grade Volleyball game will be on Sunday, February 27th, at 3:30pm at St. Gerard's in Lansing,and on Wednesday, March 2nd, at 6pm at St. Casimir's in Lansing. Volunteers Needed: The school is seeking volunteers on Wednesday, from 10:00am-12:00pm to help puttogether the mailing for our Annual Appeal. We are also seeking a volunteer to assist in straightening thelibrary shelves. If interested, let us know in the school office.
Financial Assistance: All school families should have received a PSAS Financial Aid Form in the Fridayfolder of their youngest or only student. Forms are to be mailed directly to PSAS (envelope provided) byMarch 1st in order to be eligible for a Diocesan Scholarship. Forms mailed after March 1st will not be eligi-ble for a Diocesan Scholarship, but will still be accepted as local scholarships are not determined until lateMay or early June. This year we also have forms available in Spanish. If you would prefer a Spanish form,please stop by the school office.
From the 150th Anniversary Committee: As part of our Sesquicentennial Celebration, the Historical Com-mittee will be creating a cookbook for sale. For this project to be a success, we need your family's treasuredrecipes—recipes that have not only nourished your family, but have also created memories!Please share these with us and include your name and a brief history or "story" behind them. Drop yourtyped entrees in the designated container in the back of church or at the school office through Sunday, March27th.
Daycare Welcome: Welcome to Miss Jessica Richards, who joins us as our new afternoon/evening daycareworker! You might recognize Miss Richards as she is also a hostess at the Lamplight Grill on the weekends!
