We like family.We’re a family-owned and family-friendly place for the freshest beer and pizza in town.

We like fresh food. We make our own pizza dough. All our appetizers are battered with our own beers. We make our sauces, salsas, dressings, and dips from scratch. Yes, this takes time and costs us more, but they taste amazingly great.

We like the planet.We recycle absolutely everything we can. We even ship the spent malt from making our beers to local farmers. The cows love the nutritious, protein-rich feed. We also reuse yeast as many times as we can and ship the dead yeast for recycling.

We try to use as little energy as possible in making our beers. This includes using the beer wort to heat water for the next brew, and many other energy efficient beer-making practices and innovations. We invest in wind power energy and install high-efficiency lighting. We do a lot of cutting-edge research and development in our facilities to ensure we use absolutely minimum amounts of water, electricity, and natural gas to make each pint of beer.

We like plastic. (Money, that is.) Put your cash away, we insist. We only accept debit and credit cards (Visa/Master Card/American Express). Yes, that means we do not accept cash. Why? A cash-free store is a safer environment for our staff, and we like our employees.

We like you, too.We take corporate responsibility seriously. We are proud to voluntarily put health warnings on all our beer cans and bottles.

All beers and non-alcoholic sodas we serve in Pizza Brew are produced at Minhas Brewery. All spirits and liqueurs we serve are produced at the Minhas Micro Distillery. Why? We are proud of the quality and premium products we brew and serve.

We also contribute regularly to causes such as breast cancer awareness, FASD (Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Disorder) and MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving).

WHO ARE WE ?

We do not use any preservatives or additives in any of our beers. We do not cheap out on any of the ingredients we use in our restaurant.

We are not interested in making the quick buck. We do not overcharge for anything we sell. Instead, we work for long-term customer relationships and offer everything at a price an average person can afford.

For safety and security of our staff, we do not take cash.

To preserve the high-quality and freshness of our pizza and other foods we serve, we do not deliver. You can come and pick it up if you like, but we will not serve food that might be cold or soggy upon arrival.

We do not buy canned or jarred sauces, salsas, salad dressings or dips. The only cans in our restaurant are filled with beer. (Many of them exclusive beers you won’t find anywhere else in Canada!)
