Age of the aircraft

5.3 The age of the aircraft for import shall not exceed 20 years in accordance with CAR, Section 2 Series F Part XX.5.4 Aircraft more than 30 years of age from the year of manufacturing shall not beused for flying training activities.

Internal Compliance Statement

Manuals shall be prepared as per checklist. Manuals for initial approval in paper copy. Once approved, an electronic copy may be uploaded and maintained into the electronic document library.

Accountable Manager

AM appointed by FTO -has corporate authority for ensuring that flying training can be financed and carried out. AM - ensure that all necessary resources are available to accomplish flying training inaccordance with laid down standards and establish and promote the safety and quality standards for the training.

Maintenance Arrangements

FTO shall establish a maintenance organization in accordance with CAR M Subpart-F. The organization may outsource base maintenance check to other appropriately approved maintenance organization.

Quality Assurance System1. The FTO shall establish a QAS.2. Prepare a Quality Assurance Manual as per

the guidance given in Appendix VI.3. The QAS must include a system for

conducting internal audit. 4. The internal audit shall be conducted by

those who are not involved in day to day instructional activity and shall be conducted using customized checklist(s).

Safety Management System

1. FTO shall establish a SMS in accordance with CAR Section 1 Series C Part I.

2. FTO nominate an Accountable executive3. SMS Manager (Safety Manager), who shall

be responsible for SMS implementation. 4. SMS Manual which shall include Safety

Policy and objectives and other contents for ensuring phase wise implementation
