WZ Packaging Limited is a UK-based converter of flexible packaging with a wealth of industry expertise and a rich legacy in premium aluminium based packaging materials. We look back on decades of supply history with proud lineage including Lawson Mardon, Star Aluminium, Alcan and Novelis. We are honoured to supply companies ranging from international Blue Chip corporations to small and medium enterprises throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America and Australasia. Our manufacturing facility in Telford, Shropshire boasts 400 million square meters of annual production capacity.
Whilst our core market sector has traditionally been the supply of flexible packaging for confectionery, our longstanding commitment to technical innovation has seen the development of materials catering for a broad range of applications. These include - but are not limited to - dairy packaging, non-stick baking foils, food containers, pharmaceutical products and more recently heavy-gauge coated fins for industrial heat exchangers. Our state-of-the-art in-house Research and Development facility reflects the significant financial investment made in providing tailor-made flexible packaging solutions adapted to meet the ever-changing demands of new and diverse industry sectors. Notable recent innovative developments include Integrity Packaging for hollow figurines, ovenable and BPA-free coatings and lacquers, Low Temperature Seals, Tear Tape and Organic Ink Systems. We pride ourselves in supplying products of the highest quality, guaranteed by stringent testing carried out within our in-house lab. We are certified to BRC, ISO 9001, FSC, FDA DMF, GS1 and Sedex standards.
WZ Packaging offers a customer-focused approach to offer our clients a greater degree of flexibility. Our friendly Customer Services team is always available to assist with delivery scheduling, order processing, call-off arrangements and all other aspects of vendor management. We strive to provide the most efficient service possible to make our customers’ lives easier.
The purchase of our new manufacturing facility in November 2014 has led to yet further enhancements in our production capabilities and illustrates our commitment to continuous investment in our business. Whatever challenges the future holds, WZ Packaging will be ready to meet them.

Company Profile
We have Rotomec© and Cerutti© printing presses with the facility to print up to eight colours in register, as well as the capability to reverse print in-register in a single pass. Rotogravure print affords close attention to detail and precise replication of custom designs. All printing machines are equipped with in-line camera web monitoring systems.
Lamination requirements are covered by our Kroenert© machines, meeting demands for both wax and glue laminated substrates. We have a variety of adhesives at our disposal to suit a breadth of applications including freeze-resistant and heat-resistant packaging. All laminators are fitted with in-line colour print units.
Our facility boasts a three-tier drying mechanism with three colour coating stations, ideal for converting cheese foils and other demanding substrates. Our heavy-gauge coaters can apply a full range of BPA-free, epoxy, PVDC and vinyl coatings to materials ranging from 20 to 200µ and offer full high temperature and curing capabilities.
Meticulous planning and attention to detail ensures high qualitative standards, efficient manufacturing processes and a finished product that exceeds our Customers’ expectations. We offer value-added services such as technical and after-sales support (advice on packaging artwork and machine installation), vendor management, including on-time deliveries and short lead times and safety stock holding agreements. Production takes place exclusively in the UK and carries the hallmarks of traditional British manufacturing.
