All information in this directory was submitted by individual districts and is considered
accurate as of September 2008. This directory was compiled and prepared for
publication by San Joaquin County Offi ce of Education, Public Information Offi ce.
Welcome to the 2008 – 2009 San Joaquin County Public School Directory, where we provide you with information about our 14 school districts, more than 220 schools, and various programs and services offered throughout the county.
As you may know, San Joaquin County serves more than 136,000 of the most socially, ethnically, linguistically, and economically diverse student populations. This publication helps our nearly 7,000 teachers, more than 500 administrators, and 7,000 other staff members become knowledgeable about the array of resources available to meet our high academic, social, and emotional standards.
Since this is one of the most valuable sources of information about our schools, we are launching an online version of the directory. Please visit www.sjcoe.org to search by name, program, school, district, and many more query options. In addition, it will allow you to download and print up-to-date versions of the directory throughout the year.
I encourage you to utilize this instrument as a means to make certain that our community and schools work together to continue to provide our students, the future leaders of our community, with the tools needed to be successful in life.
Thank you again for supporting San Joaquin County schools. Working together, we can ensure a better education and brighter future for all of San Joaquin County’s students.
Sincerely,
Fredrick A. Wentworth, Ed.D. San Joaquin County Superintendent of Schools
