Son Jesus Christ has given the human race a Mother without sin who continues to intercede and guide human history with her work and prayer. We give glory and worship to God for these

saving conceptions and nativities. Without them we would be lost. A Blessed Nativity to Our Blessed Mother!

1. Parents must be married in the Catholic Church. 2. If a couple is civilly married or unmarried, they must

make an appointment to meet with the Pastor before they can have their children baptized.

3. Children age 6 and under will receive the sacrament of Baptism. From 7 and above, they will receive all three sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Communion, and Confirmation).

4. Parents must bring a copy of their marriage certificate from the Church where they were married.

5. Godparents must be practicing Catholics. You may have a proxy for a godparent/s who may be unable to come.

6. To have your child baptized, contact Andrea at 272-3463 to schedule a Baptism Preparation Class.

7. Baptism in English is every 3rd Sunday of each month after the 10am Mass.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION 2020-2021

Due to the COVID-19 virus Religious Education is going to be online this year. We are going

to be using GOOGLE CLASSROOM and you will need to have a google account. When you

turn in the registration form please write the Google Email Account that you will be using for this class. You will receive an invitation

from us to join the class. Religious Education will consist of 2 tracks. Track A – First Holy Communion Preparation – this course is for the students either in the first year or second year of preparation to receive their First Holy Communion. Track B – General Catechism – this course is for all the students that have already received their First Holy Communion.

Classes will begin on the week of September 14-18. You will receive more details once

you have registered. Cost – the cost will be $5.00 for 1 student; $8.00 for 2 students; and $12.00 for 3 or more.

Beginning next weekend, September 12 & 13, St. Bede will take the special collection for the Burse Club Membership and S.O. S. Appeal. You should have received a letter from Archbishop Rodi, a Burse envelope and a seminarian prayer card that were mailed to all parishioners.

When you give the suggested donation amount, it goes to the Catholic Foundation Trust Fund and the rest will be used to Support Our Seminarians current educational expenses. As a member, you offer prayer for vocations and financial assistance

for the education of men for the priesthood. In return, you & your loved ones are remembered in

the daily prayers of seminarians.

IT IS TIME ONCE AGAIN for all religious, employees and those volunteers who have

substantial contact with children to complete their Children and Adolescents

Protection Program (C.A.P.P.) retraining. This retraining is required of all personnel who

have already completed their initial C.A.P.P. training and who continue to be active in the

ministries of the Archdiocese of Mobile.

1. NEW PROCEDURE: The Archdiocese is now using CMG Connect for our Child Protect Training. All training information from the old system has been uploaded to CMG Connect.

2. DO NOT SET UP A NEW ACCOUNT: For users with a previous CMG account, use existing username and password. For users who have not previously logged on to the site, use the generic user name:

3. Retraining can still be completed online. Log on to https://mobile.cmgconnect.org/users/sign_in

4. Your main learning dashboard will show you all of the requirements and optional training curriculums that have been customized for your particular role within the Archdiocese.

5. Start the RENEWAL Safe Environment Curriculum - follow steps to complete retraining. Once training is completed, you may print a completion certificate for your records. The online database will be automatically updated with the new retraining expiration date.
