Dear Sir:
Re.ferring . to conversa t_ipli ov e r the phone regarding
the track lea ding tq the o-~shed rock bunk er on the Seattle
Belt Line:
Mr. Crosbr advises that this track was run out so that
bunker would be para llel with the track and thirty~twa feet ·
from the center the reoJif. The contractors-probably noted the
stakes leading. from the lin~ and without looktng fUrther
assumed that the traak was staked a.t an angle with -the main
line. You will note that it will be neoessarr to go out on
an angle to get this clearance, a fter sequring which the track
v.ould curve back to a tangent pa rallel with the track. I
wish ~ou would call the contraotors 1 . attention to this matter
so tha t the bunker may be located at a proper distance from
the headblook so that there may be nq further trouble ·.
