A robust, modifiable, “Plug and Play”,active tracking RFID technology

that transmits information via it’s own secure network

Micro cellular network topology provides M2M, Bi-directional IP access to low power, short range, battery operated devices/ sensors.

C-LAN does not require any ambient RF Infrastructure (WiFi, large scale cellular) operates outside of IT Domain.

C-LAN requires a single IP interface (Ethernet/cellular modem) regardless of C-LAN coverage area.

C-LAN can be installed into existing structures with no retro-fit, available AC power is the only requirement.

Battery/solar power can be used for temporary, Ad-Hoc network capability if no AC available.

This would indicate C-LAN could be used in emergency/field application

Up to 64,000 C-LAN Cells

Ethernet/Wi-Fi Cellular Modem

Unlimited number of active/passive C-LAN Tags

• Master acts as gateway to web app via IP/modem

• Master manages network timing/control for network formation & Bi-directional packet transport

• Single Master is able to provide RF coverage of 192 Million square feet (2500-3000 sqft/ C-LAN cell)

• “Segmented Cluster” network geometry, i.e. Buildings, Airports, Warehouses, Shipping containers thru Port of Entry and while in transit, digital home life environment.

• Network assembly algorithm maximizes bandwidth & minimizes latency regardless of geometry.

Overlapping Cells provide continuous coverage indoors and out.

• Overlapping cell coverage

• Cell to Cell RF Range(Bi-Direction, Synchronous)

• Cell to Devise RF Range (Asynchronous)

• Multi-Hop Centroiding Scheme allows multiple path for data

Synchronous backhaul. No self-induced packet collisions Full network BW assigned to sending cell via TDMA/Interrupt/Poll(based on network traffic density) Low packet density near cell, auto-acknowledgement between cell–device provides loss-less data transfer Multiple applications running on top of the ambient C-LAN, Security, HVAC, Real Time Video, any sensor available on market today, all sharing bandwidth with no packet collisions. Applications do not compete and self-collide, C-LAN improves the Wi-Fi performance.

Installation comparison. C-LAN vs. Wi-Fi.

To gain adequate Wi-Fi coverage in a large building requires hardwiring multiple Wireless Routers.

- Wired Wi-Fi Router - Required installation connection wire - C-LAN cells placed into AC outlets

To gain adequate C-LAN coverage in a large building requires NO hardwiring only AC outlets needed. Plug and Play.

C-LAN Summary

C-LAN is more robust and economical than any competitive wireless network offering:

• Tracking• Sensing • Meta Data• Supply Chain Management

C-LAN is the only technology offering a wireless event triggered camera
