What is the Executive MBA?

Programme summaryIn addition to General Management and Leadership, we also offer Energy and Islamic Finance concentrations. The Islamic Finance stream is the first in the world offered by a top ranked business school.

The Executive MBA in Dubai has four major components:

■ The 12 core modules, taken by all students, give the fundamental skills and knowledge you need to be a world-class business leader

■ Elective modules then give you the opportunity to concentrate in the aforementioned areas

■ The Business Mastery Project, a major piece of business analysis, enables you to focus on your area of choice and put into practice what you have learned on the Executive MBA programme

■ Finally, the professional development workshops allow you to develop soft skills such as interviewing, negotiating and presenting

Course deliveryFace-to-face workshops: Students are expected to attend monthly workshops for each module. These take place over a long weekend (Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun) and are taught by Cass faculty from London.

E-learning: To help them study between the regular workshops, students have access to a customised Virtual Learning Environment called Moodle. This includes interactive learning materials, academic support via Q&As and discussion forums, coursework submission and tutor feedback, Cass electronic library resources and a student cafe/network for exchanging ideas and sharing experiences.
