The examiner passively moves the shoulder into mid range of each of the motions to be tested and the patient is asked to hold against resistance for 35 seconds Perform periscapular strength testing Slide 6 The patient is positioned prone. The examiner passively moves the shoulder into endrange of the motion to be tested and the patient is asked to hold against resistance for 35 seconds. Muscles typically tested are the upper, middle, and lower trapezius and the rhomboids
