Photo Description Check Off
Perform active motion
Slide 4
The patient is seated. Have the patient perform flexion and extension.
Perform passive motions of the knee
Slide 5 The patient is supine. Perform flexion, extension, straight leg raise, and hamstring ROM

2
Perform passive accessory motions of the tibiofemoral joint
Slides 6-‐7
The patient is supine with the knee straight. Stabilize one side of the joint and move the other first in an anterior direction, then in a posterior direction
Perform Medial and Lateral Shears
Slides 8-‐9
The patient is supine with the knee flexed to roughly 90 degrees (foot flat). The examiner places 1 hand on the lateral distal femur and one on the medial proximal tibia. Stablize with one hand and glide with the other hand. Reverse hands and apply gliding force again.
Perform passive accessory motions of the patellofemoral joint
Slides 9-‐10
The patient is supine with at least 20 of knee flexion. Perform superior, inferior medial, and lateral glides remembering the importance of the concordant sign

Compare and contrast results
Compare and contrast findings between active, passive, and accessory motion testing. Discuss how to interpret these findings generally and within the boundaries of the case study
Discuss Are there other joints you might decide to screen based on findings so far?
