RV Parking
There will be 30 reserved RV spaces with electricity and water access available at the Cha anoo‐ga Choo Choo. A er these spaces are filled there will be an overflow area at the Choo Choo with‐out electric or water access. For RV’s that park at the Choo Choo, the Camping Rules Form must be signed and included with the submi ed Reserva on Form. There is also an alternate off‐site loca on at Camp Jordan Park in East Ridge, TN which is about 9 miles from the Choo Choo. Trans‐porta on will not be provided from the alternate site to the Choo Choo. There is a separate reserva on form for both loca ons. Please note that all requirements are listed in each of the separate reserva on forms. Please note that space is more limited at the designated RV parking area at the Choo Choo. There will be early arrival allowed for RV’s beginning April 4th at Camp Jordan. Early arrival will not be allowed at the Choo Choo. RV spaces will not be available at the Choo Choo un l noon on Monday April 6th.There is also RV spaces available for the en re week un l April 12th at Camp Jordan Park. All RV parking must be reserved and paid in advance.

Each Conformation Entry Fee includes $3.00 AKC Event Service Fee & $.50 AKC Recording Fee (First Entry Only). Each Obedience Entry Fee includes $3.00 AKC Event Service Fee & $.50 AKC Recording Fee (First Entry Only). A $3.50 AKC Recording Fee will be required for the first entry in Rally and $3.00 for each additional entry in Rally.
*In Obedience and Rally Classes requiring jumps, entries MUST include the Dog’s Jump Height

When a dog is entered in more than one class, the highest priced class is considered the first entry. If a dog is entered in both Obedience and Rally on the same day, you must pay the fee for the first entry of the dog in EACH trial, as they are separate events.

A en on Exhibitors Errors on Entry Blanks. Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, whoever may make such errors, and no entry fee will be refunded in event of such errors or cancella ons of entries a er the published closing date. Each Owner and Agent listed on the entry form and/or individual responsible for the dog at a show is bound by the Cer fica on and Agreement on the front and back of the entry form re‐gardless of who may have completed & submi ed the entry form. As Specified in Chapter 12, Sec on 4 of the AKC Rules Applying to Dog Shows, informa on con‐tained on the entry form is required to be published in the club’s show catalog. This informa on is also subject to publica on in other media. All Dogs Present must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged or when in the exercising ring. Class Cash Prizes will be paid in the ring to the person showing the dog. Claims for prize money must be made in the ring before the judging of that breed is over, and the Superintendent ad‐vised at once. The Superintendent and show‐giving Club disclaim any liability for cash prizes a er the judging of the breed is over.

Winners of these Classes are eligible to compete in Best of Variety if undefeated in any other class Veteran Classes. Open to dogs and bitches 7 years and older; neutered dogs and spayed bitches are allowed to compete in Compe ve Veterans Classes at independent special es.
Veteran classes divided as follows: 7‐under 9 years; 9‐under 11 years; 11 years and older Field Trial. Open to dogs or bitches that have placed in an AKC sanc oned or licensed field trial. Dual Champion. Open to dogs and bitches that have earned both an AKC Show Championship as well as an AKC Field Trial Championship. Neutered dogs and spayed bitches are allowed to compete in the Dual Champion Class.

Non‐Regular Classes (Addi onal) Involving Mul ple Dog Entries (Na onal Specialty Only)
In accordance with AKC rule Ch 11, Sec 8, a neutered dog may be entered as the Stud Dog in the Stud Dog Class and a spayed bitch may be entered as the Brood Bitch in a Brood Bitch class. As the judge's decision in the Non‐Regular Classes involving Mul ple Dog Entries is based on the merits of more than one dog or bitch, no one of the dogs or bitches making up the entry judged first in these classes will be eligible to compete for Best of Breed by virtue of having won these classes.
Stud Dog Class. (Na onal Only) For stud dogs and at least two and no more than four of their get. Stud dog must be entered in the appropriate Stud Dog Class and must be shown in the ring with its get. Owner of stud dog need not necessarily be owner of get. Get only to be judged, based upon their merits. While the merits of the stud dog are not to be considered in the placement of the entry, the stud dog must be examined to determine if it has a condi on that would require its dis‐qualifica on or excusal under Dog Show Rules, AKC policy, or the standard for its breed. Get must be entered in a Regular Class, Best of Variety Compe on, or some other Non‐Regular Class. Brood Bitch Class. (Na onal Only) Same as Stud Dog except subs tute Brood Bitch for Stud Dog and Produce for Get. Brace Class. (Na onal Only) Brace Class shall be for two dogs of the same variety and at least one common owner. Dogs do NOT have to be entered in another class at this show. The entry forms must be marked accordingly in the space for Classes as Brace. If more than one Brace is entered by one or more common owner, the dogs comprising EACH Brace must be designated “Brace No 1, Brace No 2,” etc. Dogs comprising each brace must be named at me of entry.
OBEDIENCE & RALLY TRIALS DCA will refund entry fees (less $10.00) in Obedience & Rally for bitches who come in season a er entries close provided a veterinary cer ficate is presented to the Superintendent 30 minutes prior to the start of regular judging.

Brace: The Brace Class will be for two dogs that are eligible under these regula ons and capable of performing the Novice exercises. The dogs need not be owned by the same person but will be handled by one handler. If more than one Brace is entered, the dogs comprising EACH Brace must be designated “Brace No 1, Brace No 2,” etc. Dogs comprising each brace must be named at me of entry. Team: This class will be for teams of any four dogs that are eligible under these regula ons. Five dogs may be entered, one to be considered an alternate for which no entry fee will be required. However, the same four dogs will perform all exercises.

Hotel Dog Show Guidelines
● There will be a maximum of eight (8) dogs allowed per room.
● The guest will be charged a one‐ me non‐refundable dog fee of $50.00 per stay. This fee applies to all guests with dogs. Fee is fixed and will not change whether guest stays one night or five nights.
● Dogs le una ended in guestrooms must be crated. Plas c shee ng must be placed under each crate.
● Dogs are not allowed on balconies above first floor. This is a significant safety haz‐ard, and viola on will incur a bench commi ee hearing.
● Housekeeping must be allowed to clean a guestroom at least every two days. Please hang ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on door if you do not want housekeeping service that day. Housekeeper will leave fresh towels on days no service was provided.
● Owners/exhibitors should bring their own towels for bathing dogs. A daily inventory for missing or damaged towels will be taken. Any necessary charges will be applied to the guest’s bill.
● Individual guests will be responsible for any damage to a guestroom or any hotel property. This includes, but is not limited to, replacement cost for carpe ng if odors or stains cannot be removed with tradi onal cleaning methods. Bedspreads will be re‐moved prior to guests checking into rooms. If there are no dogs in room, the bed‐spreads will be returned to guestroom.
● Dogs are to be leashed at all mes when out of the guestroom.
● Dogs will not be allowed in the following public areas: restaurants, lounge, public func on space and the respec ve hallways to the areas listed. Excep ons will be made when func ons call for the dogs to be in these areas.
● Extension cords are not allowed to be plugged in to rooms from a vehicle, trailer or camper in the parking lot.
● If the hotel receives excessive barking complaints from a guestroom, guests will be asked to check out immediately.
● The hotel and a member of the show commi ee will inves gate any problem areas that are outlined in this agreement. Any guest not adhering to this agreement will be asked to check out of the hotel without refund.
● There will be a designated area in the dog exercise yard adjacent to Building 3 for the placement of x‐pens. X‐pens placed outside of this designated area will be re‐moved. Please clean up a er your dog in all areas of the property and place waste in designated buckets and/or trash cans.

DCA 2015 RV Reserva on Form‐ On Site
30 spaces with electricity and water access will be available at the Cha anooga Choo Choo Resort on a first‐come/first‐served basis determined by date each reserva on form is received. Reserva ons must be received by March 11th. Priority will be given to reserva ons for the week. There will be 30 amp electrical hook‐ups available. Bring a minimum of 100 feet in 30 amp extension cords. There will be water available to fill holding tanks. Bring a minimum of 100 feet of hoses. Holding tank dumping will be available through an outside vendor for an addi onal fee. Fee to reserve a space with electricity will be $240 for the week, Beginning April 6th at noon through April 12th at noon. If a RV space is needed beyond noon on Sunday un l Monday morning at 10:00am, reserva ons must be made and the fee will be $40 a day. All spaces will be on a parking lot adjacent to Track 29. Shavings must be placed on plas c or mats and cannot be le on the parking lot. All discarded shavings must be placed in a ed heavy duty plas c bag for pick‐up. Trash must be bagged and ed. All RV spaces will be assigned. Space is limited to a width of 20 feet and the length of assigned area will be dictated by the size of the RV. This will be strictly enforced! A er all spaces with electricity are filled, there will be an overflow area adjacent without hookups (electric and water) for $20 a night with priority for longer stays. Parking is solely at the applicant’s own risk. The applicant, by submi ng this applica on, waives any and all claims and cause of ac on against the Dachshund Club of America, Cumberland Valley Dachs‐hund Club and the Cha anooga Choo Choo Hotel and their employees, agents and volunteers related to loss or, or damage to, the vehicle or its contents, including all claims and causes of ac on arising out of the negligence of such par es. The applicant agrees to indemnify the GSCA, GSCGA and the Cha anooga Choo Choo Hotel and their employees, agents and volunteers for any and all loss by fire, the or damage, or loss of personal property, or the loss or injury to the animals in the applicant’s charge while on the event grounds or parking area.

No loud or boisterous ac vity from 11:00 p.m. un l 6:00 a.m. 15. Please be aware of all carbon monoxide dangers that can be harmful to you or other guests. 16. Vehicle and generator exhaust MUST be expelled safely into roadways and not into adjacent campsites. 17. Please place bagged trash in receptacles or dumpster 18. All exhibitors and guests will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of their spaces, or will be asked to vacate their space immediately. 19. No tent camping allowed. 20. No shower or restroom facili es. 21. There will be a $100.00 cleanup fee if you leave trash at your site. This includes wood shavings if used in X‐PENS. Shavings must be placed on mats or plas c in X‐Pens. Please keep sites clean.

DCA 2015 RV Reserva on Form Alternate Loca on‐ Camp Jordan Park
There will be an alternate off‐site loca on for RV parking. The site is at Camp Jordan Park, located at 323 Camp Jordan Parkway, East Ridge, TN 37412. The distance is approximately 9 miles from the Cha anooga Choo Choo and is accessible by Interstate. This site has RV parking with 30 amp electric and water at a cost of $30 a night. Since the Choo Choo RV parking area will not be available un l Monday, April 6th at noon, those with a reserved space at the Choo Choo that arrive over the weekend beginning Saturday the 4th, can make reserva ons and park un l Mon‐day at noon. Also, for those that prefer this off‐site parking or are unable to get RV reserva ons at the Choo Choo with electric hook‐ups, reserva ons can be made for the period beginning April 4th un l April 12th at noon. There is overflow RV parking at the Choo Choo without electric or water access. You must arrange your own transporta on from Camp Jordan to the Choo Choo. Camp Jordan has ample parking for RV’s and is the site of an annual dog show. This Public Facility has graciously allowed us use as an alternate RV site. As such, please keep your area clean and bag all trash. This separate Reserva on Form must be completed and sent along with payment as indicated below. Hospitality and Dinners
Monday Evening, April 6th, 6:30PM ‐ Welcome Hospitality: There will be a Welcome Party with hors d’oeuvres in the Roosevelt Room at the Main Lobby which was once the Terminal Railway Sta on. Enjoy good old fashioned southern hospitality hosted by CVDC and DCA. The Choo Choo will provide a cash bar. Please indicate on the All‐In‐One‐Order Form the number of people in your group that will a end the Welcome Hospitality so we can plan an adequate amount of food.
Morning Hospitality: There will be morning hospitality Tuesday through Saturday at Penn Sta on. For Tuesday through Friday, the special breads and pastries will be gra‐ciously donated by Terry Carr‐Hall owner of Provence Breads & Café located in Nash‐ville TN. Provence Breads has two loca ons, Nashville Interna onal Airport and at 1705 21st Ave South in Nashville. This café has been voted Best Bread in Nashville for the last 17 years. Check out their website at www.provencebreads.com. For Saturday, Peyton Walker, “The Bread Man” will graciously donate Thomas Muffins and Sara Lee Bagels.
Evening Hospitality: As the schedule allows during the week, there will be an informal evening hospitality gathering at Penn Sta on with light snacks. If there is adequate par cipa on, a Cash Bar will be provided by the Choo Choo each scheduled evening. The DCA Board will hold an ice cream social on Friday evening.

The Dachshund Club of America, Inc., Annual Awards Banquet will be held Saturday evening, April 11, at the Choo Choo Imperial Ballroom. Entree choices include: • Chicken Marsala ‐ breast sautéed with a Marsala wine sauce with julienne pance a,
portabella mushroom, tomato and scallion served with mashed parmesan new po‐tatoes.
• Double‐ Cut Pork Chop ‐ grilled and glazed with a bourbon sauce and served with roasted sweet potatoes.
• Grouper Piccata ‐ fillet lightly dusted in seasoned flour, sautéed and finished with white wine, bu er and a lemon caper sauce.
All entrees include a tossed garden green salad with a blend of iceberg and romaine le uce with seasonal garnishing, served with ranch or Italian dressing, seasonal vegetable, fresh rolls, cheesecake with strawberry topping, and tea or coffee.
The cost will be $40 and reserva ons and pre‐payment must be made on the All‐In‐One‐Order Form.
Golf Cart Rental
There is Golf Cart rental available from Cha anooga Golf Cart. All rentals must be made directly with the Company in advance at 423‐531‐7206. Deliveries of rented carts will be made to the Choo Choo on Monday. The rental cost for the week is $200 for a 4 passenger cart with a fold down rear seat for crates. Golf carts are welcome and help to navigate the distance between buildings. Please note that golf carts can‐not be operated on sidewalks.

Day Cra ng & Day Grooming
There will be designated, secure, covered day cra ng which is a ached directly to Track 29. This area is not climate controlled. Because of space limita ons, there will be very limited ringside cra ng inside Track 29. This designated cra ng area ringside in Track 29 is only for dogs that are being ac vely shown. A er conclusion of show‐ing, crates must be moved to the designated Day Cra ng Area. Grooming will not be allowed in Track 29. There will be limited, secure, unreserved covered day groom‐ing available a ached directly to Track 29. This area is not climate controlled. Electric‐ity will be available on a limited basis. The purpose of this designated day grooming is to provide exhibitors a convenient loca on adjacent to the show rings. The saving of day grooming spaces by leaving equipment overnight is not allowed. Equipment can‐not be le in this area overnight and will be removed. The Commi ee will monitor the described intended use by exhibitors of the designated area for ringside and day cra ng and day grooming. Track 29 will be locked a er the conclusion of the show each day and will be opened at 6:00am on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Track 29 will be opened a er show hours for Judges Educa on on Friday evening. Note: dogs cannot be le in Track 29 a er the conclusion of the show each day or le in designated areas for day cra ng and day grooming a er the conclusion of the show each day. A Recording Fee of 50 cents for each dog and an AKC Event Service Fee of $3.00 will be required for each recordable single entry class at any Licensed or Member Club Show or Obedience Trial. (American Kennel Club Rule, Chapter 11, Sec on 2). A $3.50 AKC Recording Fee will be required for the first entry in Rally and $3.00 for each addi onal entry in Rally. (American Kennel Club Rally Regula on, Chapter 1, Sec on 5) These Fees are paid to the American Kennel Club.
RETURNED CHECKS / INVALID CREDIT CARDS do not cons tute a valid entry. The Superintendent will add a collec on fee of $25 to the amount of each returned check and credit card. Subsequent returned checks and credit card from the same exhibitors may result in their being put on a cash‐only basis. No entry fees will be refunded if the Show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturb‐ances, fire, extreme and or dangerous weather condi ons, an Act of God, public emergency, act of public enemy, strikes or any other cause beyond the control of the Club or the Superintendent.
No Refund for Duplicate Entries. Every effort to find all duplicate entries will be made; however, if entry has been processed, no refund will be made.
No Entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any condi ons as to its ac‐ceptance. Changes, addi ons or correc ons to entry forms must be received in wri ng prior to close of entries. Those received by telephone are not acceptable.
Dogs need be present only for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging. Dogs must be ready for judging. Neither the club nor the Superintendent will be responsible or obligated to furnish any service for no fying exhibitors or their agents of Breed or Class judging. Judges need not wait for any dog holding up the class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings.
The Club reserves the right to subs tute a prize of equal or greater value.
All trophies must be claimed the day of the show ‐ None will be mailed.
All checks issued as prizes are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Lost, stolen and/or misplaced checks will not be replaced. Checks are valid for 90 days.
The show giving club, the Superintendent, their agents, employees, etc., assume no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by exhibitors or handlers to any of their dogs or property, and further assume no responsibility for injury to children.

In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog. 2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed compe on: Dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs which, according to their owners’ records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed compe on is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship.
3. (Event Class) Consult the classifica on in this premium list. If the event class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, in addi on to designa ng the class, specify the par cular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e., age division, color division, weight division.
4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the me entries for an event closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event for which entries closed a er the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registra on cer fi‐cate indica ng that the dog is recorded in his name.
