Entries close 5pm, Wednesday 30 May 2018 The Life in Pictures short film competition is a collaboration between the Department of Communities, Revelation Perth International Film Festival and Screenwest which aims to challenge attitudes towards ageing. The competition will encourage people – the film makers and the viewers – to stop and think about how we view growing older. It will stimulate discussion about ageing in a positive way. They will be encouraged to use good story telling, and their ability to move and influence an audience, to promote conversations about ageing. Film makers are asked to challenge perceptions of ageing and growing older and to consider how seniors add value to our communities. This includes their contribution to families, culture, the economy, volunteering and tourism. Entries will be received in three categories, with prizes tailored to each: Young people: aged up to 17 years, including students and schools Open: aged 18 – 59 years Seniors: aged 60 years and over Please refer to the Conditions of Entry to confirm eligibility, prize pools, judging procedures and everything else you may need to know. You may enter by filling out this entry form and including it with a DVD, file of your film or link to it.
