    Energy Security and Sustainable Economic Growth in the Absence of

    Good Governance. As an OPEC Member igeria has been E!"orting more than #$$ million

    *$$#.  -n early *$$$ there was "ro"aganda for the e!"ort of gas to /elhi via a

    "i"eline 01angladesh was floating on gas2 on the basis of fictitious gas

    reserves. 3ater on from *$$4 country has been suffering due to

    shortage of gas.

    Since *$$5 there is "ro"aganda for sustainable e!traction of coal fromPhulbari Coal 1asin by o"en cut mining method 0by a foreign

    com"any2 with o""ortunity to e!"ort #46 of e!tracted coal. -n *$$) Government has a""roved PSCs with two -OCs with "rovision

    of e!"ort of '$6 of gas.
