Some activities related to education:źdevelopment and accreditation of new study programmes under ENPI project,
źnotification of study programmes that have already been accredited at partner universities,
źdevelopment of quality assurance policy, e-learning policy and concepts for doctoral and master study programmes (EMUNI Observatory),
źEMUNI label study programmes,źProfessional School (Summer Semester, Doctoral Research Seminars, Free-standing Courses).

The main aim of the module Euro-Mediterranean Studies (EMS) is to provide participants with a broad understanding of the Euro-Mediterranean region from different perspectives (economical, social, political, cultural, environmental, etc). The module will be delivered in two terms at EMUNI University in Slovenia. The module was adopted at the Senate of EMUNI University and is in the accreditation procedure at SQAA (Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education).

EMUNI University tends to make an excellent network of specialised study programmes between Euro-Mediterranean universities, mostly in the form of double and joint degrees. Study programmes will focus on topics that are priorities of the Union for the Mediterranean and will be carried out at several universities; partners of EMUNI University. The international comparability of study programmes will be ensured with respect to credits, as well as awarded scientific and professional titles.
In the Academic Year 2010/11, EMUNI partner universities from France, Italy and Tunisia in cooperation with EMUNI University will implement six 'EMUNI label' master study programmes.
Some general characteristics of 'EMUNI label' study programmes:źstudy programmes will be delivered at the location of the university that will issue the
degree while part of the study will be delivered at EMUNI University, Slovenia where the module Euro-Mediterranean Studies will be organised,
źlanguage of delivery: English, French or one of the languages of the Union for the Mediterranean,
źmulticultural learning environment (students and professors),źa range of teaching methods will be applied, including face-to-face tuition, on-line
instruction, project work; internship programme may also be organised,źbesides quality assurance and assessment carried out by the university responsible for the
programme/degree, the innovative and intercultural aspects of study programmes will be observed and assessed by EMUNI experts.
