From the Dean of Engineering
WELCOME TO THE SPRING 2015 Engineering Career
Fair at North Carolina State University. The Collegeof Engineering is honored that so many outstanding
employers are recruiting at this event. The breadth
and depth of our programs and the more than 9,600
top students enrolled in engineering and computer
science means NC State offers an excellent venue
for employers in a variety of fields to connect with
outstanding job candidates.
Our Engineering Career Fair began in 1998 and has
become one of the largest career fairs of its kind in the
nation. And since it is an open event, we have students
from other colleges and universities traveling from
across the country to attend. We are proud to host anevent that plays such a pivotal role boosting the state
and national economy.
Industry recognition of the quality of our programs was
reflected in 2010 when the College of Engineering was
ranked 15th among the nations engineering schools by
recruiters in a study published in the Wall Street Journal.
This ranking reflects the high quality of graduates from
our engineering and computer science programs and
underscores why our career fair keeps attracting so
many top employers.
The students and staff who run the career fair have
worked hard to make sure this event exceeds your
expectations. I hope you enjoy your experience at NC
State University.
