board has rich multimedia functions including TFT display, CTP, MMS,64 polyphonies,

multimedia playback, FM, stereo earphone , Bluetooth,Wifi,GPS, and USB connection, support

motion sensor, ALS/PS sensor, dual camera,micro SD ,dual SIM card, 24bit RGB LCD, Capacitive

Touch Panel,etc. In addition, Chinese characters input, business card-shaped phone manager,

clock/alarm clock, calculator ,senor games and other practical Applications.

Block Diagram of Operating Principle

System architecture of E350

Based on MTK platform design,E350 is mainly composed of Baseband ,RF ,PMU, IO, and other

modules.

Featuring an ARM11-based kernel, MT6577, baseband module features across-the-aboard

peripheral interfaces and achieves seamless integration of audio frequency, SIM card, T Flash card,

Keyboard and other peripheral equipments. The storage structure of AK330 is composed of

DDR2,eMMC flash and T-Flash.

RF module adopt MT6162 as transceiver (2G and 3G) , improved the performance of RF

feature and saved much more place of motherboard. and adopt RF3233 as 2G PA with antenna

switch, ACPM-5401-TR1、ACPM-5408-TR1B as 3G PA.

1.1 PC upgrade tool

1) Installation upgrade tool driver

Double-click “Install.bat” file，follow the picture

2) Double-click “Flash_tool.exe” icon, follow the picture：

3) Click button, choose MTK_AllInOne_DA.bin file under the

SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1216.02 root directory.

4) Unzip software upgrade package， then click button, choose the

MT6577_Android_scatter_emmc.txt file in the upgrade package。

1.2 SD card download guide

1） Copy the” ZIP” files to the root directory of SD card, then put SD card into its slot.

Be sure have space enough in SD which is twice of space of “ZIP” files at least, or

maybe download failure.

2） Under the status of power-off, press down the volume-up and power-on key at the

same time till going into “recovery mode, as you see the interface like picture below

means into “recovery mode”

3） At the time of picture above, press volume-up key, go on the next interface like the

picture below.

4） Press the volume-down key till the fourth row show the blue background---“apply

update from sdcard”

5） Press the power-on key and go into the interface like the picture below, the files’s

suffix must be the “zip” , it’s none of the name’s business.

6） via pressing the volume-down key to choose the software files。

7） When find it , press the power-on key, the process like belows, when the progress

bar is over means download finished.

8） After downloading success, the screen will show “Install from sdcard complete”, if

not, means failed. Please record the language tips, had better take pictures for

engineer to debug. When succeed, choose “reboot system now” to restart.

Rebooting completed is OK.

Common causes of failure to upgrade：

A. Use wrong files to upgrade, for example, use others models software. Measures:

use correct files.

B. When copy original files from computer to SD card, anti-virus software maybe

break some internal files or SD card is defective, lead to upgrade package

copied be different from the original package(use tool for contrasting or contrast

md5 can recognise , verifying files failure in the process of upgrading lead to

upgrade failure.

Measures: delete the software package in the SD card, recopy again to try or

change another SD card , copy original package again to retry.

7.3 Writing SN NO.

（2.）Input 22 pieces SN .NO in the blank , as picture below.

（3.）Inputting ok, press “enter”, then green “pass” will be displayed on the interface after seconds,

means success!

一、 Take battery cover away

According to the pictures below，rasie up from the gap，open this side first, then another.

二、 Disassemble the battery

According to the pictures below，raise up from the slot sign，then take it out。

三、 Disassemble the bottom cover

（1.） Using the cross screwdriver，disassemble the seven screws of picture marked，

using plastic bar to insert the gap between top cover and bottom cover down the four sides,

and take it。

（2.）like the picture below after taking bottom cover away。

（3.）taking the power key from the bottom cover away.

四、 Disassembling the Mainboard

(1.) Using the cross screwdriver，disassemble the two screws of picture marked：

(2.) Taking the myra away from the connector of TP by tweezer，as the left picture；

and opening the connector，take out the FPC of TP，Watch out breaking the FPC by

the tip of tweezer。

(3.) Take myra on the connector of LCM，as the left picture，and open the ZIF

connector，take FPC out by tweezer like the right picture. Watch out breaking the FPC

by the tip of tweezer。

(4.)

(5.) Take away sidekey’s FPC from the top cover, take care of having the double-sided

tape between FPC and the cover. As picture below.

(6.) Take away camera’s B-B connector , as picture below。

(7.) Raise up the mainboard from the top of the phone till about 180 degrees , the top

means approaching the receiver.

(8.) Taking out the FPC of the sub board like the left picture by tweezer , and taking

away connector of the antenna on the mainboard as the right picture below。

五、 Disassemble the camera

Disassemble the camera by tweezer like the picture below。

六、 Disassemble the bracket of the antenna

disassemble the two screws of picture marked，then take away the bracket and

speaker. as pictures below.

七、 Disassemble the receiver

Use the power up on the side of receiver, as the picture below

八、 Disassemble the P-senser

九、 Take away the screw upon the left picture below，then open the cover of the

connector by tweezer and pull it out.。

Unless necessary，please do not disassemble sub-board、TP、LCM。It is very easy to

break them. All disassembled parts as picture below.

一、Assemble the bracket of the antenna

（1.） set the coaxial cable，take care of the fixed position on the right side 。

（2.）set a speaker into fixed position in the bracket，take care of the two pin of speaker

to the pads on the sub-board，then put the bracket of the antenna, and assemble the two

Screws as pictures.

二、Set up the P-sensor foam as picture below.

三、install the receiver

Put receiver into the fixed slot , according to the direction of the receiver in the

picture。

四、Install sensors

（1.）take the paper on the FPC of sensors away，glue the FPC on the black bar，

take care of the fixed hole，as the picture below：

（2.）insert the FPC into the connector, then assemble the screw on the back。

五、assemble the mainboard

（1.）firstly insert sub board FPC into the zif , close the brown cover of the zif , put a

myra on the zif ,and set the tip of coaxial cable on the interface。

（2.）put the mainboard well ,assemble the two screws as picture below。

（3.） insert the FPC of LCM into the zif as the left picture below, then close the cover

and put a myra on 。

(4.) insert FPC of TP into the corresponding zif , then close the cover and put a anti

ESD myra on. As pictures below.

（5.）put the side key FPC well ，take care of fixed holes。

六、assemble the camera

Put Camera into its slot, push B-B connector well 。

七、assemble the bottom cover

（1.）take away the paper of double-sided tape and stick the lense on。

（2.）take away the paper on the decorate-camera and put into the slot on the bottom

cover，a hole with light circle approach the left , as the right picture below。

（3.）assemble Wi-Fi GPS antena

a. take away GPS paper firstly，attention to the four fixed hole position as the right

picture below.

b.glue the antenna onto the bottom cover as pictures below：

c. put the pwer key into its slot on the bottom cover。

（2.） assemble the bottom cover into the top cover

Firstly put well top side (approach micro-usb),then push other side well

（3.）assemble the seven screws.

八、assemble the battery and the battery cover

9 Function Test

Ways &Steps：

(一) Insert card

1. Check the appearance and 7screws；

2. Insert TF 、SIM1 and SIM2 into their corresponding slot corrcetly；

(二) Power on、test dailing

Press the power key，the mobile will vibrate、have flash and clear music for power-on.

1. After power up ，the LCM show this picture below. Check the mobil to recognize the

two sim card.

2. Dail10086, should hear the clear sound from the receiver, then active the speaker ,hear

the clear and loud sound from speaker at the same time.

(三) input orders

take the mobile from the former station, press the “dial key” , input *#889#, active “CIT

test”, go into “PCBA test(the second item)”,go on the “PCBA auto test”

(四) SW version、SN number、memory and sim card and so on test.

1. Take the mobile from the former station, press the “dial key, input *#889#, active “CIT

test”, go into “PCBA test”, go on the “PCBA test”。

2. Test version：

go into the “PCBA auto test, firstly check if the SN NO is the same with the SN lable on the

PCBA and if SW version is the same with the Plan Book’s;

Be sure is the same ,press “OK” and go into phone memory test；

Check the two memory of sd1 and sd2， there is number proves that’s pass， if no

number，firstly test TF card，if ok, as defective product.

Sim1、Sim2 display like the right picture below, means “Pass”：

The phone vibrated normally, no abnormal is “OK”。

(五) Test camera

Take the phone from the former station ，press “success”，go into the camera test。

1. Take video with 15cm Macro-focusing and 60cm distance，看摄像色卡、白卡是否清

楚，无黑点，黑团，模糊，花屏等不良， if no faults, then press “success” and go into

flash light test 。

2. the light is on, pass，go next the workshop。

(七) LED/MIC/REC TEST

Take the phone from the former station，press “success” and go into “LED TEST：

1. Red and green light flash by turns, and no light is out from USB as pass ， press

“success” and go into “charging test”；

2. Insert charger，the red light is on as pass，press “success” go into audio loop test；

3. Speak 12345 approach MIC ， the hand will wiggle，hear clearly 12345 from the

receiver；

4. Go on the next。

(八) Test earphone, key, and sleep/wake modee

Take the phone from the former station，press “success” and active earphone test：

1. Earphone test：

Insert earphone，speak 12345 to the MIC on the earphone line，will hear clear sound

from the two earphone， without abnormal sound as good product，press “success”

and go on “KEY TEST”。

2. Key test：

press “volume up” key，’volume up’ turn green，按 press “volume down” key，‘ volume

down‘ turn green， press the “call end key” on the phone ，” earphone” turn green as

piture 2， press “success” ,go into the next test as picture 3。

3. sleep/wake test：

press the power-key，the phone slee-on，press again，the phone is awake, as good

product。

4. go next the station。

(九) TEST LCD and LCD brightness

1. TEST LCD：go into the interface，click the screen to exchange the colour ，without

color dot、black dot、 defective line、deep or slight in colour and so on, as good

product，click “success” into “LCD brightness test”。

2. move the button of brightness adjustment，untouch it，the brightness will change

（moving left turn dark, moving right turn bright），as good product。

3. go the next station。

(十) FM test

take the phone from the former station，点 click “success” into ‘FM TEST’ ：

1. FM test：insert earphone，tune the frequence 98.5，may hear clear sound， click

“success into ‘TP TEST’；

2. TP test：according the show write like the picture below one by one.，all areas turn

green, after that , go into TP double-dot touch test.；

3. press the two left white dots to move to the right，then untouch it，if OK，auto exit

from “PCBA auto test” , means all passed 。

(十一) play music、key test

take the phone from the former station，insert earphone，if locked,slide to right to

unlock，clicl MENU，slide the screen to the left：

1. click music，play music，listen if it is clear， with or without abnormal sound；

2. click the ‘window key’，if the key turns light blue ， if the screen will exist and show

the current status like the first picture the second line；

3. click the “return key”，if the interface can go back the upper interface；

4. click “home page”，if the interface will came back the standby interface；

5. NO defective，go on the next station。

(十二) Sensor test

1. G-sensor test：after going into the test interface，竖 turn around the phone with

clockwise, take care of the screen face you all the time， check the direction of the

head of arrow， all is down as good porduct；

2. E-compass test

Hold the phone like writing the “8” number，IF Quality≥2（as picture below），as pass,

click “success” return “ PCBA single item test”；

3. Proximity sensor test：look the initial，the black phone’s＜3，the white phone’s＜8，

go on the next，others as defective products；put the into the tool of testing P-

sensor，push the tool of sensor，when 2cm between the phone and the tool, the LCM

turn green&red ， when 3cm the LCM turn blue&green ， as pictures below.click

“success” into “the light sensor test”；

4. Light sensor test（the work light need get on）：open the light sensor test，use hand

to sense the sensor，the LCM light powe off as good product， click ‘success’ into

the next；

5. Take out sim1, sim2, and TF card, close the cover of the TF slot, insert charger , the

blue light is on, as good, put the battery into it, go next the station. As picture below.
