*Printing your PHOTOBOOK w/MMS*

There are plenty of things you can do with page projects completed in your My Memories Suite software, but one of the most exciting is to have your book uploaded for print-ing! This will give you a beautiful, full-color copy of your hard work on paper! You can choose a number of different size and cover options to give you the best match for your needs!

Once your album project is complete, you are just a few short steps away from ordering a beautiful book that you can keep or share. The BEST part is that you can do BOTH! You can print two (or 102) and keep one for yourself and share the rest with family and friends! Unlike traditional scrapbooking, you never need to do the WORK again! You simply up the quantity and get all that you need to share with everyone! You can even order the same project in dif-ferent sizes if you want for a custom output for your gift giv-ing needs! There are some great cover options, and with the photo cover - YOU design the cover of your book too! It couldn’t be more fun, or simpler if you wanted it to be! So check out the next few pages (and the corresponding video lesson) for all the information you need to create beautiful, professional photo books from your MMS projects!

This might be a smidge out of sync with the video but it should hopefully be close enough to be helpful! There are a couple things to think about before beginning the upload process for printing your book. Make sure your pages are complete and saved. Decide whether or not you will want a hard cover or leather option (I usually choose to duplicate the first page of my album - with a few changes - to serve as the cover AND page 1).

See in the thumbnail tray that my first page is duplicated with some minor changes to serve as cover, page 1, and the back cover!

It is a GOOD IDEA to snap on the album printing guides BEFORE begin-ning a project that you will upload for printing as a PHOTOBOOK

Choose VIEW > GUIDES - then choose the size that is appropri-ate for the size book you will be printing NOTE ABOUT GUIDES: the guides are helpful for making sure all elements are contained in the safe printing area of your page - SOMETIMES there may be some SLIGHT trimming during the printing process but most of what you see will print on your book page (they are the “grayed out area” shown here)

Choose SHARE ALBUM and select PHOTO ALBUM from the drop-down menu

Here is the PHOTO ALBUM WIZARD that will walk you through selecting the pages you will add to your photo book for printing

There is a reminder about using the guides, if you have used them in creating the book, you can skip this step

Select the pages you wish to have included in your book - for your convenience, there is a SELECT ALL button to choose all the pages. You can also type the page range in by page numbers!

Choose the type cover you want - remember that if you are choosing leather cover, you will not need to have a page created to serve as the cover of your book. If you select the photo cover, the first page in your album will serve as the front cover, and the last page will serve as your back cover!

From this interface, you can “flip” through your book to make sure the layout falls as you intended. Remember you can re-order any of the page here by simply dragging them to the new placement you wish them to have in your layout! Use either the arrows to advance your page, or grab the corner of any of the page with your mouse and turn the page that way! This is a fun way to preview your album whether or not you intend to print now or not!

Make a selection for the color of the spine of your book if you selected photo cover - you can use the color match/picker tools just like in the creation of your album pages here. Select any text you wish to appear on the spine or click the NO SPINE TEXT BOX

Select the image quality you wish to use, the higher the number the better image output, but the larger the file

Name your ALBUM output, this is separate from your _jpeg file, and album project file

Click NEXT

Review the summary of your project just to make sure that everything is accurate

This small window will show the progress of your album as the software renders the images for printing

Select the Book Cover type

Select your book size (all the prices are listed here)

Review your album to make sure everything is accurate and check the box

Add your album to your cart

You will need to set up an account with the printing partner if this is your first printed album - even if you have an ac-count with the MyMemories.com website!

Continue through the rest of the steps to upload and enter your payment information - you should get a confirmation and receive your book according to the shipping option you choose - usually allow 5 days for printing in addition to the shipping time you select!
