Downloading an ebrary ebook onto your iPad

1st - create an ebrary account

• Follow the slides to create an ebrary account• Use your pc, Mac, or iPad

Start @ elibrary.unm.edu

• Look for “Databases by Title”• Click on letter “E”

• Select “ebrary”

• Click on “Sign in”

• Click on “Create an account”

• Complete the form

Click on “Terms of Service Box

Click on “Create New Account”

You’ve created your ebrary account!

• Save user name and password for use later

2nd – create Adobe Account

• You’re asking yourself, “I need another account?”

• Yes! You need an Adobe account• Follow instructions …

Go to www.adobe.com

Click on “Sign in”

Click on “Don’t have an Adobe ID”

Fill-in fields with your info

Click on “Create” button to finish

3rd – on your iPad, download the ebrary app

Search for ebrary

Tap on INSTALL

Ebrary starts to install

Tap on OPEN button

Tap on “Skip” button

Enter your ebrary username, password, then tap on “Sign In”

Enter Adobe info – email address, password, then tap Authorize

Next, Ebrary guide pops up. Read it. It’ll help you get started.

Tap on the lower middle part & you’ll see this

Tap on “Online Search”

Type “working poor” in title box, then tap on “Search” button

Search results includes your book. Tap on the title.

You’ll see the first page.

Tap on lower middle part and you’ll see the navigation bar

Tap on Download and book will begin downloading to your iPad.
