• AND... you only have to do the hard stuff once.

• Why do this?• Access to over 70,000 ebooks through ebrary
– Including books on Business, Computers, Science, and Law.
• Read our e-books like books– Rather than sitting at your computer.
• No need to worry about returning books– Once the loan period is over, the ebook automatically
goes away.

Here are the steps in a nutshell1. Create an Adobe ID2. Create a ebrary profile3. Find an ebrary ebook in the JWU Library databases4. Download the book5. Sync to your e-reader

1. If on a home computer, download and install Adobe Digital Editions
2. Run Adobe Digital Editions– If you don’t have an Adobe ID already, then sign up for one.

1. If on a JWU computer, access Adobe Digital Editions from the start menu
2. Run Adobe Digital Editions– This requires login & activation– If you don’t have an Adobe ID already, then sign up for one.

1. Go to your library homepage: 2. Go to Databases (A-Z) List
– (Other campus websites can be accessed from http://library.jwu.edu/)

• Go to ebrary through the library Databases (A-Z) List

• Click “Sign In”, and create an account if necessary.

• Browse or search for a book• Open the book• Click Download

• Select “Special Format” and click “OK”• choose either Open with Adobe Digital Editions or
Save file to open later.

• Open book in Adobe Digital Editions
