Twitter is here to stay! Twitter will soon be approaching more than 100 million users. Large and small corporations have discovered that Twitter is great way for them to help market their products and services, help them with their company branding and the astute companies have also found that Twitter is a great way to enhance their customer service program. Are you using Twitter to help market, brand and promote your art business?

If you are using Twitter, you are way ahead of the curve and if not here are the top 5 reasons why you should be using Twitter to market your artwork:

1. Twitter is a great way to drive traffic to your website. By making contacts (followers) within your business and with your target market you will be able to instantly connect with them, develop a relationship and have those individuals visit your art website.

5. Twitter will help the artist to stand out in the crowded art field. It is another way to say to your target market “look at me and my art, as I think I have something you would like”.

The best thing about Twitter is that it is free! You can’t beat that can you? Having a Twitter account for art promotion purposes is a smart move and if handled properly will not take a lot of time for the artist to administer.

Now is the time for you, the artist to separate yourself from the other artists that you are competing with and set up a Twitter account in order to supplement your current marketing program.
