Welcome to P.U.M.S Guduvancheri’s “I CAN” PROJECT

FEEL‘Late bloomers’ (slow learners) were not regular to school as they were not interested.

Teachers found it very difficult to coach them as they were irregular.

IMAGINE Why don’t we teach them things which is of their interest.

We observed their fields of interest.

We planned to teach them and engage them in their field of interest.

D0We found that they were

interested in making jewellery designs.

SHARE - We planned to exhibit their works.So we called for a parent meet to

exhibit their works.Parents started appreciating the children

and also bought their products from the stalls with great interest as they were cheaper .

This had given enough confidence in our children and they started coming to school regularly.

THE CHANGEChildren attended the school regularly

with great interest.

The money earned by them was used for their education. It earned them new speakers for

their computers which also kindled their interest in learning.

THE UTMOST CHANGE

Teachers found it comfortable to teach and bringin progress in their level of learning as they were regular to school.
