Education has to not only reach out beyond the
important objective of imparting knowledge but also to
gear up to meet the imperative of growth, technological
development & demands of globalization, new challenges
and international competitiveness. Education is no
longer to be considered as something which one gets
considered as something which one gets during the early stage of one’s life. In today’s world,
education starts from the cradle and continue till the grave. During the forthcoming years it is the
quality of education which will determine who will succeed and who will fail, whether among
countries or among companies. Therefore, it has become the need of the hour to develop leader-
managers for the future.
DMSR, Nagpur aims at achieving this objective by providing the students the opportunities to enable
them to imbibe the skills needed with a spirit of hope and determination. It is the caliber of our
students and the quality of education that is imparted which will determine how our MBAs compare
with those from other institutes in the opinion of the Corporate Sector.

It indeed is a great pride and honour when The
President of the Institution is Shri Rahul Bajaj and
Chairman Shri Sanjay Bhargava. But, it also
reinforces the belief that ceaseless efforts need to
be made for the glory to be pursued & to move
upwards and onwards.
DMSR endeavors to create a student-centric environment that not only enables its
students to become self directed achievers but also where they carry forward the legacy
of Shiksha Mandal by building a productive & value oriented workforce for the nation.

G. S. College of Commerce & Economics Govindram Seksaria College of Commerce and Economics, Nagpur was established in 1945 by Shiksha
Mandal, Wardha to fulfill the requirement of Commerce Education in the region during the pre-
independence period. Today, G. S. College of Commerce and Economics has carved a niche for itself as
premier Commerce College in the country and is known for its high academic standards, qualitative
growth and ethical practices under the dynamic leadership of Shri Rahul Bajaj, President of Shiksha
Mandal & Shri Sanjay Bhargava, Chairman ofShiksha Mandal.

studies with a view to develop future managers having excellent managerial skills, character,
discipline and integrity.
Training & Placement Cell
In order to extend the best possible Management Education to students of DMSR and to motivate
them to excel in their dream profession of Management, a career path is structured in a manner that
facilitates in providing the industry with a ready to absorb finished product in the form of custom
tailored executives. The path has been structured after elaborate interactions with a fair number of
Professional Executives spread over Manufacturing, Service, FMCG, Financial and Other Sectors.
In our endeavour of promoting Management Education at DMSR, we strive to provide a platform for
conducting activities beyond academics which helps in imbibing Real-Time Management Education
amongst the budding managers. The entire process is implemented through a custom-designed
Mentor – Mentee Program between faculty and students. Hence the idea of catering to industry
requirements is aptly brought forth through various activities like Soft Skills Programs, Aptitude
Assessments, Mock Role Plays, and by inviting distinguished speakers representing renowned
industries to give a holistic insight to students’ all round personality development.
We at DMSR, believe that training and grooming is not a onetime phenomenon but an incessant
