Dear Professor Campbell,I am from a small mountain town about two and a half hours from here called

Brevard, North Carolina. Brevard is home of the white squirrels, not albino, just white, and known as the land of the waterfalls. My family has lived in Brevard/Transylvania County since the mid 1700’s.

Family is very important to me and I try to spend as much time with them as possible. When I am with family, I feel comfortable, content, and can be who I am. We all get along well and I strive to make all of my peers feel like they are family. We are also major foodies. We wake up and immediately discuss dinner plans over coffee. Coffee is very important to me. I am fascinated with the art of making it, especially espresso, and I enjoy creating my own flavors and latte art. Espresso is one of my passions because it takes a talent to make it right but the reward is pure relaxation and bliss. Another passion of mine is travel. When I travel, I make sure to find and try the best cafes in the area. Travel is a big part of my life. I believe that traveling helps one mature and become more cultured. Much of who I am is from where I have been. This is because I use the things and knowledge I have picked up from other cultures and blended it to enhance my everyday life. I have spent a lot of time in Spain and Central America and am fluent in Spanish. I listen to Raggaeton and Bachata music and enjoy the Cuban and Spanish cuisine. My girlfriend’s dad and stepdad pilot the 777’s for Delta’s international routes and I got the chance to go on a trip to Japan and Singapore with them recently. I brought back many teas and tried many different foods that added to my knowledge of other culture’s cuisines.

Cars are another major passion of mine. My dad and I have always been gear heads since day one. We have been to many races together at Road Atlanta and always enjoy an exotic sports car. Wherever I go, my eyes are always peeled for something roaring down the road. Car spotting and coffee drinking are two of my favorite activities. We have a vacation home in Delray Beach, Florida, about 45

minutes North of Miami. The car scene down south is unbelievable. I have been going down there since I was born and I believe that is where my passion for cars started. On a Friday or Saturday night, the valet parking lots of the nicest restaurants have some of the most rare exotics in the world. Being able to see these so frequently is truly a blessing. These are just my top passions, I am very easy to talk to and simply love conversation. See you soon!
