2 PLOT or STORYLINE

"Plot is a narrative (and, traditionally, literary) term defined as the events that make up a story, particularly: as they relate to one another in a pattern or in a sequence; as they relate to each other through cause and effect; how the reader views the story; or simply by coincidence."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plot_(narrative)

In my own words:

Things happen in a story.

My example:

We planned to have a big birthday surprise for my fathers 45th birthday.

MY OWN PLOT

.

1c

We planned to have a big surprise for my grandfathers 80th

birthday in our provinceNorthern Samar.

We are all excited for the event and we

gathered all our family members for our plan.

We are all on our way toour province and ready for the next set of event.

We settled with our plans inmaking that surprise.

We started to talk about the party whatever problems will do to

stop us from the surprise.

RISING ACTION

"In the rising action, a series of related incidents builds toward the point of greatest interest. The rising action of a story is the series of events that begin immediately after the exposition (introduction) of the story and builds up to the climax."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dramatic_structure

In my own words: Rising action supports and gives momentum for the

climax.

My example: We are all excited for the event and we gathered all our

family members for our plan for my fathers special day surprise.

CLIMAX

"The climax or turning point of a narrative work is its point of highest tension or drama or when the action starts in which the solution is given. Climax is a literary element."

https://www.google.com.ph/#q=climax

In my own words: The most exciting and interesting part of a story

My example: My Grandparents make a statement and told us that "a 45th birthday will happen just once in mans lifetime."

New concepts learned Every Individual has his/her own storyline, may be

different in kinds or types but the same way of which story is supposed to be start and done. We have deal with the exposition, the climax, the rising and falling action and our resolution in real life.

NEW INPUTS1

Page 12: Deananeas 2-humanities (1)

This reminds me of… The experience that I got when we surprise our

Grandfather, I remember the climax which when we arrive at his birthday without letting him know about the surprise. He is very shocked and happy that we traveled for 24hrs. just to be with him on his special day.

CONNECTIONS2

Page 13: Deananeas 2-humanities (1)

Usefulness in real situations I can share to my family in the future the things

that I've learned when doing this work and share my own experiences in real life and tell them what part of storyline it is.
