I took honors art in high school and design courses at RISD and Syracuse.

I have lead and worked with teams to execute campaign plans, creative problem-solving and

multi-media projects.

My initiative and proactive work ethic got me promoted from intern to Promotions

Coordinator at an RI radio station.

Any of my friends will tell you I won’t rest until my assignments are flawless.

It is, after all, the best way to learn.

Detail-oriented

And before I even graduated, I...

...interned at one of Boston’s top 5 PR firms.

...lead a team of 5 in developing a campaign plan for a non-profit.

(They chose it as their top campaign choice out of four!)

(Schneider Associates Consumer Dept.)

...founded & ran the communications team for a campus magazine.

(Yes, I convinced journalism majors that PR is necessary.)

Page 20: Dana Mikaelian Visual Introduction

...was entered into the Arthur W. Page Society College Case Study Competition for my Taco Bell campaign analysis.

...earned the honors of Dean's Scholar, Magna Cum Laude and made the Dean's List every semester.

And before I even graduated, I...

amazing

I spent 5 months living in Madrid, Spain and traveling throughout Europe and Morocco.

I’ve also studied abroad.

It was the most

experience of my life.

Page 22: Dana Mikaelian Visual Introduction

I gained a global perspective, tolerance for

ambiguity and cross-cultural sensitivity.

Living abroad also taught me self-reliance,

adaptability and how to communicate in ANYsituation.

Page 23: Dana Mikaelian Visual Introduction

(If I can barter with a native Moroccan for a rug, I can do anything.)

I gained a global perspective, tolerance for

ambiguity and cross-cultural sensitivity.

Living abroad also taught me self-reliance,

adaptability and how to communicate in ANYsituation.

Page 24: Dana Mikaelian Visual Introduction

My Public Relations major taught me how

to effectively deliver messages to target

audiences and develop lasting relationships.

I gained local media attention for special events and news stories for Baskin Robbins, Golf Town USA and Hood Baileys Coffee Creamer.

I taught children new skills as an elementary tutor, which was probably my most challenging task of all.

Page 25: Dana Mikaelian Visual Introduction

My Sociology minor taught me how to analyze human

behavior and society.

I’ve conducted multiple research projects to find out what makes people tick.

I took courses regarding gender studies, class and race to help me understand people’s values, beliefs and lifestyles.

Page 26: Dana Mikaelian Visual Introduction

I can use these skills to market

anything

to anyone ,

anywhere
